Very few highways i would be able to open it up and feel the 1k cc but you guys in USA has so good highways and many lanes. 1-3 gears are max i could open up and tbh if i open up fully on 1 (on a 1kcc) i would already be breaking speedlimit. But the fun in the bigger bikes, not many emotions can compare with that. Non-bikers will never know.

First off, congratulations Carolina. That bike is freaking sick. You are one lucky girl. I'm a newbie guy, looking into a Kawasaki Ninja 650 as my first bike, the other choices are the Honda CBR650r or the Yamaha YZF-R7. But from what I heard it's the Ninja from 400-650, that is a good learner or starter bike for a bit more power, it has less aggressive seating position, so more comfortable, it does well enough on highway and road, it is reliable, it has access to parts, I have room for a girl on the back to sit, and it comes with ABS. It may not have the better sound, in comparison to the Honda or the Yamaha, but it seems to have a lot of fans for a beginner due to that comfortable seating position and being a good commuter, but does come with many whom don't like it, but thats life. Again fast enough to keep up on the highway, slow enough that I want injure/kill myself or the girl who's my backpack when I get confident enough for passengers, I originally was looking into a dual sport either a Honda XR650 or Kawasaki KLR 650, when I discovered the Ninja 650 which gets a lot of hate, but looks to be a comfy ride good at commuting, and with no lane splitting allowed in my state, and lots of traffic, and commuting it just seems like being comfortable, and having enough speed but not too much is ideal . Btw, that helmet is also dope. Excellent choice. When they brought your shipment out, I can feel the excitement in you, and I was excited for you when your bike arrived. You looked so excited, it is like the Christmas Morning, open the presents feeling, we all (hopefully) had as little boys and little girls. In that Made in Japan box. The color is sooo cool too, classic Ninja black. Look forward to seeing you ride, be safe, and hope to join your ranks soon from my city. You are a full step ahead of me graduating from the z 650 naked bike, to the ZX10R Ninja. You are brave. Ha ha it'll be a while before I move to something more powerful. Subscribed! Ride on!

Liter bikes are better for daily riding than the 600 supersports. You'll have usable low end power. Good choice

Idiotic take, quite the opposite, liter supersports are completely useless on the streets, lol. Even seasoned and very experienced riders will tell you it's stupid to own one for street use and majority of them will advise people to not buy them, especially not if they were riding a z650 :D Riding a bike on the first gear all the time because of how fast it is is the definition of a bad choice actually. If anything, the 600cc are way more usable on the streets and even they are crazy fast already. It's the reason why middleweight bikes have the biggest sales, they just make more sense and still provide enough power if you need fun, like the RS 660 for example.
