I think the hair halo looks good! Definitely just trim it to your length and make it even. Also if it’s heat safe you could re curl it to the beachy waves that you do on your own hair. I think the curls that came pre styled on the halo are bigger curls and that also just doesn’t blend as well because the curls are fighting with the curls in your own hair if that makes sense

Brush out the voloom after you do it. Still get voloom but not as noticeable. I also start with a layer right above my ears and do 3 or 4 layers and start at the top and go 4 passes down for more all over voloom. Hope it helps! I love mine!!

I think the hair volumizer side looks way better and a lot more voluminous. You’re supposed to put the crimps at the scalp/base of your hair on the under layer, so that you don’t see it. You do it on more layers if your hair is thinner and you need more volume. There’s a lot of tutorials out there to help you figure it out.

💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Color depositing conditioner is where it’s at! I also try to maintain red dyed hair but I use overtone vibrant red & brad mondo amber conditioner depending on who has a better deal going on. Both are the best! Use the conditioner on dry hair for best results for darker hair colors

I love the Celeb Luxury brand color shampoo, but I don't use the Gem shades for my hair, I use the Viral routines. They keep my reds red, my purples purple, my pinks pink, and my blues blue! Depending on what color I've gotten into my hair lately. I have quite punk hair, so I use it a little bit differently. Also I typically use both the colorwash and the colorditioner, which may make a difference. I notice the colorditioner usually deposits more color.

For those who have thinner hair texture I highly recommend looking into make your own rosemary oil treatments. I had such bad hair loss in 2022 and the rosemary oil saved me! I usually used olive oil/avocado oil with a couple drops of argan oil because it has a lot of beneficial properties but other kinds would work. I used it as a prepoo and wore it until i needed to wash on wash day. (for reference, i have 2c, 3a, and 3b hair textures but it is on the finer side with higher porosity so some products can be too heavy for my scalp and hair) highly recommend researching and looking for products intended for your specific textures. Sidenote: i did a variety of treaments for my hair loss. Including acv rinses, rice water rinses, rosemary oil treatments. Its obviously not immediate results but it helped everything fill back in. My little baby hairs are ridiculous 😂 i got bangs to help them blend in more.

I just started using the Mielle shampoo & conditioner about 3 months ago & I love it. (I'm not an affiliate in any way I'm just a stay at home mom in her 40's) I have alopecia from metabolic steroids, Lupus & I lost quite a lot of hair on one side while I was extremely sick for about 2 months with Covid immediately followed by the flu & a bacterial infection in my lungs. In my experience finding an affordable growth shampoo that's both natural & good quality is very hard, I was sceptical of the price & I honestly didn't know people were freaking out about the oil, I'd also been using my leftover black espresso to stimulate hair growth before this, I did notice some thickening around my part & temples but very slow. First thing I noticed from the Mielle is that I could feel a nice tingle & it didn't disappear as soon as I rinsed my hair out, I tend to run hot so the cooling effect was much appreciated, I also noticed my hair didn't dry out but it wasn't getting as oily when I reached day 3 hair so my scalp was getting a very good cleansing. It's too soon to say anything about significant length but the left side of my head was so bad that if I moved the top layer that survived you could fully see my scalp it was so thin & it hadn't changed much in the 6 months since I recovered because I've been battling a plethora of secondary illnesses (the aftermath of living with 2 immune disorders when you get very ill) but now the hair has grown in a little over an inch & there's so much new hair growth you can't see my scalp anymore. I did also start taking biotin daily in hopes of strengthening my hair but I don't think biotin actually makes your hair grow faster or does much for hair loss.

I’ve got like, 3 of the dress you tried on. I am also 5’10”, and they’re so great for life in the desert of SoCal. Perfect summer dress, I pair mine with cute flat sandals, Converse, and if I’m feeling spicy, a wedge sandal. It gets hot as balls here, and these dresses are perfect. When I have dressed in dresses that are longer get kinda “jumbly” and they get tangled when I drive. It’s a great simple summer dress. ❤

For the Mielle oil, you aren't supposed to wash it out. You apply a minimum amount to your scalp once a week or to your ends. It's also mostly promoted towards/created for people with curly afro-textured hair, not those who have straight hair because of differences in hair care/management routines. Also while people can use different hair products, when people with straight hair use products designed to meet the needs of those with curly hair and then use the product incorrectly, experience issues, and complain about it, those complaints are taken more seriously and companies end up changing the formulas to suit people who aren't the target demographics. This happened with shea moisture. I hope it doesn't happen with Mielle as a lot of people with straight hair have complained about this product even though it's a cult classic for the people it's actually designed for.

Yeah my sister bought some of this for me (we have thick wavy hair) but it's not what I need at all. She uses it because she bleaches and heat styles her hair quite often. I do henna and gel/mousse, so moisture isn't an issue for me. Something like jojoba would be more fitting for Rachel, since it's more of a sealant.

I would suggest watching Raw Beauty Kristi trying out the hair volumizer so you can do it correctly. It needs to be just a small section close to the scalp & it's like close & instantly release so it doesn't leave such obvious crimps just enough to give you volume. I've also never seen anyone move so far down the hair shaft, if used properly it actually looks beautiful & you can't see the marks
