I mean pricing, and the CPU being 2.5 generations old, I would think half that price would be a good deal. 1600 CAD is about $1250 in real money, and I wouldn't pay more than $700 for this. In fact, I bought an HP "gaming PC" for my GF from Wal-Mart with a 1660 and R5 3600 a little over a year ago for around $750. Admittedly, that came with bloatware that had to be cleansed, a HDD instead of an SSD, and the form factor is about 3x the size. No, the DL options are DLDSR, which takes the tech of DLSS and does it the opposite way; by taking a higher resolution and downsampling it to your monitor, with the AI tech of DLSS. They aren't "optimized" they are completely different in how they scale.

when Dawid said there was a cpu or memory bottleneck for the gtx 1650 it was actually power draw as a pcie slot can only output 75 watts and it was hovering dangerously close to that. there was no supplemental power so it had to slow itself down as the power management ic detected dangerous power draw, so it left 5 watts for safety reasons to do with power spikes.

i owned one of their products but i just got it off from their direct seller and i paid it thru alibaba trade assurance. you can request for parts to be replaced like the wifi6 module, ssd and ram. dont ever go to t heir resellers with their ridiculous marketing and price. i was kinda surprised how well the system i have is built as i have low expectations to begin with. and oh they do offer discounts!

What would happen if you used a Display Port to HDMI converter cable? Would that allow you to get more than 30 Hz at 8K?

but can you add an external power supply and upgrade the graphics card outside of the pc? maybe say a switch it with a 3050 or higher I'd like to see video on that

How would this work for an average gaming pc? Like just playing most new games on med or low and old games on high at 1080p as a budget pc?

Curious if the temps are actually ok with the 9700 they got as an optional upgrade.
@c13ium562 жыл бұрын
For 1600 Canadian dollars (according to google it’s 1200 usd), I could build a pc with a 2060 with better temps..so I guess if you really want to I guess you could buy it..

I'm curious how it'd perform if you stuffed an Intel 9900 or 9700 in there. Assuming the external power brick doesn't immediately lose the will to live, anyway. It's not like the stock GTX1650 is even that terrible.

This would make a pretty good work pc. Maybe even use it with an external capture card for streaming. Depends on how much it costs.

You could have gotten a DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 adapter. There are a number of them on Amazon just for this type of use (8k TV with PC that only has DP 1.4)
@Dracossaint2 жыл бұрын
just for your reference a lot of them are hidden miss the best one so far is the DIYpc one i think it was.

replace the gpu with a rtx a2000 and add more or replace the ram and replace the cpu if ya want but i think it would then become a good gaming pc or you could turn it into a server for like minecraft if ya find somme good storage

That motherboard looks a lot like a rebranded MSI Trident board, which would explain the 9th gen i5 and the horizontal pci-e slot

A funny thing: Kingfast's SSD is actually slow af. I have friends who have a 128GB SATA one and windows took like 2 minutes to boot, it feels like booting from an HDD than an SSD. Meanwhile every 120-128GB SSD (Gigabyte, Kingston, PNY, all of the cheapo but not KingFast) I upgrade/build for friends has never been that slow. 3 turns on the booting screen maximum and you are on windows.
