Hey Browney! Haha exactly right - both is best!! I have always wanted to get into a forced induction V8 - except I always thought it would be an angry LS as these AMGs were always waaay out of my league. How the tables have turned though! The torque is addictive and suits my lazy driving style, can't wait to put some more miles on it! Thanks mate - I think the video was filmed about 7 weeks ago now, and has been edited mostly between the 1 and 4 am feeds, so pleased with how its turned out!! Cheers mate!

Thanks mate!! I must admit I did look at a couple of 'sensible' cars for the family but just couldn't do it..and glad i didn't! Can't wait to do a full drive review video for everyone and give it some real beans - sounds great under full noise! Cheers!

They are a nice car!! Well done. One thing I noticed is the drivers side rotor the drill holes are facing the wrong direction, as they arch in the wrong direction compared to the other rotors. I have a thing about rotors as when I purchased my Senator second hand the front rotors were on the wrong side so I swapped them around and now my OCD is fine again. Great Vid by the way.

Arrrggh!! Mate I rushed outside to the shed to check the rotors and you are right - I never noticed this before and now its going to drive me bloody nuts! I checked online (and even rewatched Legit Street Cars video on AMG Brakes) and it appears they are like this from factory (only 1 part number for left and right discs) - which is really bizarre, and really annoying!!! Cheers mate, these are very nice cars indeed! I really did love that an HSV offered 80% Of the thrills for 40% Of the price - but those days are well and truly over! Glad you enjoyed the video mate! LOL That is bizarre for a high end motor company to only make (or buy one sided rotors) a one sided rotor, does that mean the rear drivers side is the same as the front drivers side? Yeah bought my Senator 2.5 years ago just before the prices went stupid, but think I will put it up for sale as its a sellers market at the moment, sell high! buy low. cheers enjoy the Germon Powarrr

Just don't watch any of Tasos Moscatos vids on the M157 - they give me anxiety that mine will blow up like the ones he works on! Haha glad you got a laugh out of the Benaud bit - I loved the old commentary teams (and when the 12th man use to take the piss). Might grab a cream, bone or off white jacket for my next vid! G'day Rob! Mate you are not wrong! There are more buttons on the key fob of the Merc thant the whole XW. Still, the old Clevo wins the smiles per gallon by miles - you can plant your foot, make some noise and still be well within the speed limit. Hit the go pedal on the Benz for a fraction too long and you are looking at jail time 😬
