Yesss!!! I have been waiting to see the update. Awesome stuff Namz!!! To be fair with the amount of effort you are putting in, if you do fix it and get it on the market. These videos are going to prove the amazing work and care that's been placed on this project. I hope you do tune it to a ridculous spec. By the way, I sent the previous video to my friend, and he also was wondering why i got rid of the gt63 and got the m5. One of the main reasons was that as a daily the GT63 sticks out like a sore thumb in cities and towns, sounds silly but it attracts alot of attention, the videos and pictures actually do not show you how long and wide this beast is. Paying just over £1500 a month for a daily worry of parking it here and there is a pain. The m5 blends in so much more to be honestly and it is a little cheaper. Anyway, you are making me want one again though haha.

You're so right about that i have owned a very super saloons in my lifetime and the presence of this GT63s is just special stands out for sure, I love the way Mercedes have somehow shaped a coupe style car in to a saloon its amazing! Might pay to check the rings too Namz... overheating causes them to lose their tension resulting in low compression and increased oil consumption if they're damaged. Check to see if the bores are ok and not glazed over... what a lump of an engine though!!! Surprised you didn't remove the engine and trans together from the bottom as you had it on the lift in video #2, which is how the factory does it but in reverse when building the car. BEAST of a car though, not sure about the matt paint though, like my cars shiny and a lot easier to look after than matt.

We definitely won’t forget to check the rings out for sure, reason we pulled it the way we did is so we can keep the ramp clear and push it out of the way or it would be taking up ramp space without a subframe. This car is actually satin black and has a nice look to it in person

So the cars been driven without coolant or a low coolant level and that’s the damage that doing so can cause, when those parts need skimming because they’re out of shape that means water is getting thorough the gasket and causing problems. Basically those areas have overheated and caused a warping when originally those areas must be dead machined flat so nothing can get in. Am I correct on that as I’m not engine minded, Beauty of a car!
