You might have to put a netting to block that bottom area i had a benz before and had to change fog lights frequently so that means stones famous to hit this area because its close to the road mark my word

I know you’ve bought the parts to fix the coolant leak but if you get all those pin hole areas fully cleaned and use some JB Weld or some plastic padding chemical metal you should hold coolant to test the car until your parts arrive. Works on motorbike radiators

I know from watching that your mechanic is very good but you need to buy bodywork protectors while he’s climbing over it like that as the lacquer on that paint marks really easy and there’s no way to fix without paint.I have same paint and colour and they have a soft lacquer

Nice work.. Much respect to you Technician's that undertake such complicated work and see through it to the end. Out of Curiosity, I have learned something on some aspects of Triage in this case, given the problem was coolant leak related, did you carry out any leak tests prior to subsntiate this theory as presented by Merc and the Auction? Not to undermine your expertise in any way but just to get some insights..

The o2 and lambda sensors determine the cars rich / lean ruining so if the wiring is faulty it will misfire ;)

Remove rads as they are faulty anyway, if the wait is long for replacement try to connect hoses together without cooler in place and run 👍 for temporary measures.

Very nice.its crazy the rads dont have more protection,We have this problem on big bikes the rad sits right behind the front wheel and stones wreck it in no time If there is no gaurd either factory or aftermarket.There a must. I wonder if this is a known issue that needs sorting out????

I’ve got a 45s and they are the same at the front with the open vents to the radiators a simple mesh over those areas would eliminate most stones entering and damaging the radiators. For such expensive cars that’s a big design flaw IMO and this guy clearly had that issue when driving his.

Very good. One advice to you bro. Whenever you rebuild engine or do any job related water system. Please don't put coolant in car first time as you wasted money on coolant antifreeze. Always put water first and pressure test coolant also any leaking. Once all good and you happy with it no leaking then you can drain water out and service with new coolant. As mechanic I always check leaking with water and then service with fresh coolant afterwards.
