@@HighPeakAutos IMO, keep the Range Rover. You have always talked about them. You haven't always talked about anything else anywhere near as often. I suggest that deep down everything else is a second or third car option for you. Maybe it will be possible to keep them both. Only you know your finances, but if I've listened carefully enough you stretched your current finances to afford the Range Rover, so this seems to have come at a bad time. Personally, I'm not a big fan of either car's looks, but the Range Rover makes a better impression; the M5 looks little different from an ordinary M Sport version, at least to me.

Great choice. I had a v10 M5 and had to sell it to fund the purchase of our new home but I have never missed a car so badly. I'd jump at being able to own another or better still a newer V8 model. Love the videos and keep up the great work. #baller😉

Very good shout, I'm looking at the moment for an F10 M5 myself. Would love the the Silverstone silver/blue paintwork with matching Silverstone leather like in your's. Spec wise, are there any must haves you recommend? I'm thinking I need the surround view camera due to a tight driveway/garage and heads-up display. Brilliant car now depreciation has worked it's magic.

I have a Cayenne and a 911. I only drive the Cayenne when I have to. I appreciate the high seating position and the utility, but nothing handles and drives like a car, especially the one you bought. Great color as well. It will be easy to sell.

I knew straight away it was going to be an M5! What a car, and that exhaust note too! It gave me a tingle, I'm not really sure what a tingle is but it's what I feel when I hear a good exhaust note. As much as I like the RR, I think the M5 would be my car of choice though. Is there a big price difference between the two?

Ok...add these thoughts! I own a 2015 BMW X5M and absolutely love it...AND....there is a tuning company in the UK called Viezu....and they are a totally reputable and amazing timing company.....and provided me with an ECU remap that took my 5,200 lb SUV from 567 bhp to 650 bhp...which translates into a 0-60 time of around 3.8 seconds....and it is amazing! Look into it for any performance vehicle...love them!!

Had one of these back in 2004 in Dubai so able to give it some thrashing on the desert highways to Abu Dhabi and round Al Ain and back via mountain drive up to Jebel Hafeet........they are really the ultimate driving machine! Yes your correct ....you got the “car owner virus”...!

Easiest decision in the world for me , id be keeping the M5 and saying bye bye range rover tommorow lol no question about it, easy for me to say BMW is my favourite and personally not keen on Range Rovers, i have a 2015 520d at the minute and love it, cant wait to be able to afford an M5! That’s a proper v8 beast! To me nothing cures my depression than going to the gym and drifting a rear wheel driven car, even my kompressor 1.8 Merc and 320d 46 are quite easy to drift and go side ways in the rain though it just takes stress off my mind

Hi there - firstly love your channel - best out there for no-nonsense reviews. I have to say I spent many months last year agonizing over what to buy next and this model M5 was right up there on my list (I used to have the E39 V8 M5 and still now have the E60 V10 that is a keeper). However the cheapest cars were at the top of my budget. So actually based on your review of it, I bought an XKR 5.0 last month. Love it by the way and everything you said on it was exactly right down to the Transit door handles!! So my question is how do the XKR and this gen M5 compare? Can't and wouldn't want to reverse my buying choice now but perhaps keep on the radar for the future!

Having had one as a “company” car and driven it upwards of 140mph I am a massive fan. It is definitely a drivers car and much better at speed than the Volvos, Audi and Skoda I’ve also driven.
