Those cards do tend to work though, they may be blank ones to write to. I had a college tutor who could write to those amiibo cards using the nfc on his phone.

I bought my Amiibo cards on Amazon, the same pack as what you got, and they all work fantastically. I also bought a Smash pack and they all work well.

I actually use the Bluetooth adapter for the Switch, it’s quite good, connection is sturdy, latency is based on the headphones/earbuds you’re using, if they have Qualcomm AptX, they should be fine. (Btw I’d recommend buying it from Amazon for less shipping times and price)

Why are they called FAKE? They aren't copying Nintendo joycons or pro controllers, they all look a little different. Aren't they just considered after market joycons and controllers? Companies for decades have been selling after market controllers.

It's because their not officially approved by Nintendo, anything not is classed as fake, but most big 3rd parties controller makers are partners

the amiibo cards. all you need to do is in the game you got to choose the amiibo icon in the weaopn menu then you can scan the card. but the amibo icon needs to be chossen first

I really wish this show took a moment to research the products the use or attempt to expose. Everywhere else you can see for the most part alot of this stuff is decent, just lack of knowing how to use it. It was the same thing in the fake airpods episode.

I have a smaller version of those Amiibo NFC cards. Same graphics, got them on eBay. They work just fine, and are great for getting all the Amiibo exclusive items without paying hundreds for all the Amiibo.

You can get the fake pro controller Prime shipped on Amazon. If you can live without the NFC and HD Rumble (which I don’t actually like, I prefer analog rumble motors), then it’s actually a decent controller. There are also decent third party and knockoff JoyCons on Amazon as well.

The amiibo cards work cause I have them. They have to activate the amiibo function in BOTW and it has to be the switch controller not pro controller.

So the Gulikit Bluetooth adaptor works great with my Samsun Buds+, and they sell it on Amazon too which is where I got mine. The low-profile of it works really nice with the Switch Lite and keeping it attached all the time, except for when charging the system.

Just make sure when you're using those Bluetooth adapters, that you're using headphones that support AptX LL. IIRC, AirPods are kinda shitty and only support the archaic SBC codec, and AAC. Just get a nice midrange pair of buds with AptX Low Latency support, and you should be good.

I have the amiibo cards and had them working, you need to enable it in botw like you would the bombs on the shieja slate in the options menu, i farmed the hell out of everything. I accidentally ordered that black and white pro controller it doesnt have amiibo support but works great minus some slight over sensitivity had both of those items since i had my switch
