I like Savage George's MR-S and think Scirocco's are underrated. He has good taste in cars 👍🏾 The Cat-S one, I'd be looking to refurb rear subframe (or £150 new) and doing a mad engine swap VR6/r32/1.8t or something. I reckon Dee has the skills and the space, Savage George has the enthusiasm and muscle to pull off a madness.

Good job guys. Something worth looking into is the compression ratio difference between the two engine blocks. The GT block might have a lower ratio to handle the extra boost of the supercharger. Not the end of the world if it does as technically it has the potential to make even more power than the GT block did, but the remap may need to account for that, a rolling road check up would be preferable to make sure the tune is safe. At a minimum I would advise using premium fuel to avoid ignition knock/pre-ignition until you know everything is all good.

Has an owner of a twincharged engine, first very interesting to see the differences between engines and also seeing the compressor out. Only warning i would say, if its before 2010 check the timing chain tensor, they come loose overtime, its basically the only problem with that engines and also the 2.0 tsi from 2009-2013 also had it, but acording to forums in 2010 they fixed the issue in the 1.4tsi.
