I'm japanese. Japanese PC stores sell new CPU coolers left over from assembling BTO PCs. However, because of the costs involved in dealing with warranties and other issues to sell them as legitimate products, they are not sold as legitimate products, but are sold cheaply as junk and disposed of. It also means that Japanese PC stores have limited space and want to dispose of surplus products like CPU coolers by selling them at low prices.

Good on you for actually replacing that GPU fan. The faulty fan will still completely die eventually even at a lower RPM, and an undervolt can be easily reset in a number of ways unintentionally by a future buyer. Makes more sense to actually fix the problem vs doing quick and dirty temporary fixes when you're selling stuff to other people.

I hope he changes both of them. it's not worth the headache of a customer coming back or giving a bad review.

@@tanmaypanadi1414 I don't really see the point in replacing a perfectly functional fan. Sure it'll die EVENTUALLY, and so will literally everything else in a computer. There's no reason to assume it won't substantially outlast the other fan because who knows why that fan was acting up? Replacing things that work fine is a good way to waste money IMO.

I deshrouded and added 2 Noctua 60mm fans to it - I added it to a Dell Optiplex system, which is being used as a Home Theater PC with a 120hz 4k TV. Now, if there are better alternatives at that price that can run on the 75W PCIe power alone, let me know, because I've been in the market for another low-profile card like that Zotac one lol. The RTX A2000 Ada is wildly unavailable (and expensive). :( 10/10 would buy it for around $115. It's been worth that and more. It can even game at 4k in select titles lol....like Rocket League.
