Hi Tom from Vancouver. FYI on crabs: King crab (my fav also) is a cold water crab. Therefore for you in the UK it would come from the Nordic countries as you mentioned. The texture is “thread like”. In North America, for both US and Canada it is called Alaskan King Crab - as it would be our only source here for it. When you go to Florida, you are eating warm water crab which is found in many southern east coast states. The crabs have shorter legs and the flesh is different. It is flaky and looks more like white fish meat. And there you have it!!! Your crab definitely had me envious!!!

That crab is already cooked. Once defrosted you can heat it up in hot salt water, but for only a minute. Heat some butter and cut up some lemon and your golden.
