*YES! To back up your point Brother J', we all know about the infamous Durango Oil Coolers! But that did NOT deter me from buying one recently! Once my warranty expired, I bought an Aluminum Oil Cooler from Dorman and guess who replaced it? ME! 107K and he is running like NEW!!!* *SIDE NOTE: Lifter Failure is about OIL! I believe those Oil Coolers start leaking and that's what leads to lifter failure. To be continued, but to your POINT: If one fails, I will simply REPLACE them all!* #KeepRollingStopCRYING

I've got a 2010 Forte that I bought new, has 275k on it now, original engine and trans, and my daughter is driving it. It looks rough, but still runs and drives like the day I bought it. My wife has a 2022 Forte GT and loves it. Religious maintenance is key to these cars, keep up with that and I'm convinced they'll last darn near forever.

My 2020 Toyota Camry has had zero issues in 5 years knock on wood. It has the 2.5l dynamic force engine which is pretty good.

Pull intake manifold and clean the intake valves. Run an oil catch can and Liqui Moly engine flusj, h plus every oil change. 4,000 mile oil changes. Seafoam every oil change. Liqui Moly Ceratec the first oil change. Drop the oil pan and inspect the rod beatings as that is the weak point. The Theta II 2.4 and 2.0T are the main nightmares.

I use Prolong engine additive in engine and transmission. Now used valvoline repair and protect oil. Really cleans engine. Be sure to change oil first 1,999 miles oil gets really dirty
