By the looks of things you robbed the previous owner! 😅 I give £4,400 for one last march with 108k miles on the clock. The only difference was it came with a Tegiwa 3” system, stage one map and HKS intake. Spec wise, it’s a GT “city pack” with GP rear bumper, and OEM satnav. Your deal was so good I feel like I got had over! I’d take that sub and amp out and check for water. I would also get the timing chain changed alongside guides and tensioners, new plugs, oil filter and oil change, PCV valve, knock sensor, clutch kit from COX and definitely valve clearances done if there’s no record. 👍🏻

The previous owner was just happy to have it gone lol

Your clutch issue is something I literally had an issue with on my fn2 last week and its the master cylinder for sure. I found a second hand one from ebay and it was £30 the spring had failed inside the master cylinder from water getting in and the spring snapped hope this helps. Good video look forward to seeing how it turns out.

Cheers, Lee and I are getting on this at the weekend, deep down I know it's more than fluid! At least they master and slave are not too bad to change

@@leedfollow yeah well my cousin did mine for me and he just removed the driver seat and laid down to remove the master cylinder as it is quite high up in the footwell he said it made the job alot easier. I think you should make a video for this as there isn't many on KZbin and it would help alot of people having the same problem. 👍🏽

There is a company called retro plates that will do a matching dealer plate with the correct font.

Picked up an immaculate 59 plate with 85k on the clock yesterday, and paid quite a bit more than £1,500, still it has all the facelift refinements, including Limited Slip Differential. If the K20A in that one is any good it's worth the purchase price on its own.
@GazMonty2 жыл бұрын
I doubt it’ll have the LSD since it’s a 59 plate, not all facelifts had an LSD from factory. Only FN2’s built after April 2010 had them as well as the Mugen 200 and Championship White of course. The FN2 also does not have a K20A, they have the K20Z4 which is slightly different and has less power than a K20A.
@richardd8352 Жыл бұрын
@@GazMonty actually the k20z4 has slightly more power than the k20a. It has 1 bhp more, and slightly more torque in mid range. The k20z4 also from factory has a slightly higher rev limit. It's basically the same engine just a small refinement over the k20a. Also from factory the z4 VTEC was set at a lower rpm, which probably accounts for the mid range torque gains. K20a 142ftlb torque 200bhp @7400rpm. K20z4 142ftlb torque 201bhp @7800rpm. The z4 mid range torque figures are slightly higher too. But really splitting hairs here. But really they both the same fantastic engine.

@@richardd8352 Sorry but you're incorrect. You mean the K20A2 found in the European EP3 Type R which has 1hp less than the FN2. The K20A was the Japanese version which the JDM cars were fitted with which had 212 to 221 horsepower (fitted on the JDM EP3, Accord Euro R, DC5 Integra Type R and FD2 Civic Type R). The FN2 never had as much power as those.
@richardd8352 Жыл бұрын
@@GazMonty well yes, considering the above video is about UK market FN2. So yes the UK A2 had less power than the UK z4 . But in reality both same cracking engine.
@GazMonty Жыл бұрын
@@richardd8352 Well the K20A2 was never mentioned in the original comment and the K20A was. The K20A isn’t the same engine and has many differences. Hence the clarification.

Why are used cars so cheap in the UK?
@leedfollow2 жыл бұрын
I think we have too many cars. Dealers everywhere have huge stock which devalues everything.
@LowNoobPro Жыл бұрын
They can't export them anywhere near due to them being right hand drive, the whole europe is LHD. All the other EU countries send their used cars to poorer countries and they keep getting resold until they fall apart. UK can't sell to anyone really.
