That fox body 88 is nice but has 93 tail lights. Back in high school in 93 that was my favorite car and even Steven Segal had one in his movies. We put BBF 545 in them fox bodies and ran like demons at night with 700HP crushing EVERYTHING in our path. Today is about super charged 5.0 or coyotes, but big block POWER is where it's at my young hot rodders! Don't you forget that. 👍

First thing I did to mine was installed a Viper 2 way paging alarm and tracking system, really easy and alerted me of a couple times thieves tried to break into mine. You scored, looks nice in black and sounds great.

Bro ; I just bought a 89 fox body. Same deal as you , I saw it on Craigslist and it was clean. I emailed the person and they didn’t respond back so I called and then text him. He got back and said it was available. I sad I want and 2 hours later I had it. I am gonna apply for transfer of title this weak… These are classic car’s and they can land you some good money !!! I don’t plan on selling. I am blessed. You are as well.

Hey you seem to have a beefed up fox I have a question. So my fox is bone stock motor 60k original miles can I just slap on my 70mm bbk throttle body and tune the tps or do i need the aftermarket bbk maf?

@@zxr-me6dk I am an expert on foxbodies been working on them for 20 years if you are just trying to go with a bigger throttle body without supporting mods like heads cam Intake it would be useless to upgrade on stock components. Any net gains of horsepower at all will be very minimal.

I've owned 2 two tone Foxbody GTs had a 91 emerald green and titanium, and about 5 years ago I got a Teal with polished silver ground effects. Both 5 speeds and both were very well loved and very missed! I am building my own now!

The 88 GT was around 12, 13 grand brand new back then, and now I won't be surprised to find a mint condition one just like that for around 25 grand. My guess for your purchase is for 20 grand. Edit: Thinking about it further as I listen to the story of how the hits kept coming in, the asking price had to have been around 12-15 grand, just like the brand new price back in 88.

I have a 1989 in the same mint condition same color black anniversary edition with the. Horse on the dash. Original price with the sunroof was $16,520.89 I’m the original owner. No modifications other than a cross tower strut brace, K&N filter in original air box and a radio.

You can tell your fresh to the foxbody game for sure. All in time you'll know more and what to look for. Rockers, under the door, look at the hatch to see if it's lined up, hatch for rust, under the car where the torque box is at to see if those are torn and the list goes on when actually looking for things. Also the comment about it not being drag raced because it's not 5 lug couldn't be further from the truth. They make plenty 4 lug drag wheels and really good axals for 4 lug too. From one foxbody owner to another if youre wanting to run a wide wheel in the back youll need to get rid of the quads.

As you heard (if you watched the video) the guy is retired army and honored a first come first serve. The first guy had dibs as he got to him before me, i knew this car would sell if he ended up showing up so i offered more money to come get it RIGHT NOW if all checks out. He wouldnt let me. So yes, i 100% believe that first guy didnt show up considering the cars condition, 2 owner, garage kept and 67k miles… if i were to sell it, id make an insane profit on this car comparing to what i paid. So no, there were no “tricks” and the “first guy never showed” be (as he said in the video, he wanted to come the day i was going) but the guy said sorry, it was next in line.

Nice clean Fox dude! Back in the day in the late eighties some Foxes actually came with remotes for alarm and power locks from the factory. It was an option. First thing, get rid of those ridiculous looking headlights previous owner put on. Factory headlights look much better. These cars had a lot for the money at the time. Car was around $14,000 new and you got a 5.0 with full power incl. gas release and trunk, sunroof, alarm, cruise control, power lumbar seats, and fog lights for GT. They're getting hard to find especially in this condition. Good find.

I have an 88 GT bought new for 13,400. It's Blue (original paint) with auto, sunroof, and only 20K miles. Had it undercoated when new and never in the snow (Michigan), bottom is mint. Mice ate a nice whole in the hood insulator. Don't drive it, other than once a year. Time to sell in 22.
