I remember well when I worked for the Range Rover dealer in the Netherlands that this model came out. We had an orange demo model, which I sold not much later for just € 97,750 a real bargain. The woman who bought it wanted to take it to Croatia for vacation, and could not wait for the order to arrive so she bought the demo for the asking price. And the reputation of Range Rover did not fail, the car broke down half way through her trip. Had to tow it back (from Italy I think) and swap the engine after 1500km... I never felt so ashamed working there.

Yeah, I figure the revenue from the two videos uploaded will likely justify this purchase. Local economy grows as Car Wizard fixes the trade-off for our entertainment, and Hoovie still ends up with a profitable sorted convertible Evoque.

He payed nothing. It's a sponsored video and 20k (if it realy is that) is peanuts for a used auto trader of this size.

I honestly wouldn’t trust my series 2 (pre defender) going up something that steep, I’d have more faith in the some of the newer stuff, but that’s still too steep for almost any vehicle.
@TheEulerID8 ай бұрын
It was winched up. Richard Hammond did a recreation of the stunt on Top Gear in a 64 year old Land Rover. It looked terrifying. Unlike the original advert though, the Land Rover winched itself up albeit it had a second engine in the rear on a pivot so that it would still runs and power the winch when vertical.
