Like the others.. I've followed the mutt from Nathan's to your channel and I see it has come into good hands. I will watch developments with interest. One thought is that the whole driving position, seat and steering, are too far to the left to ever be comfortable. That suited the BMW, but not the bug body shape. If it is convenient, it would be good to move things over by a couple of inches. This might mean lifting the seat a bit, but there is headroom available for this. You have got so many suggestions here, please feel free to ignore this one :-)

@@flossymissiles You might find a race seat that is narrower at the base than standard car seats. Or, cut into the tunnel once you have the drive shaft sorted and know the clearance that you need.
