I bought the Wonder Oven and here's what I learned

I bought a mini oven to cut the cost of using my gas oven. Although these ovens look small when advertised, they still can make small kitchen surfaces look cluttered. I returned my oven and just continued to use my oven and airfryer.

Wow what a cute little home appliance. As mentioned, ideal for a single person or student in digs. I think a two draw air fryer offers greater flexibility but this would still be a great option.

Tefal Easy Fry Grill and Steam XXL 3-in-1 Air Fryer FW2018 There do not seem to be any other such combos in Australia. Look forward to your review.😊

Great video Clara, as always - this one looks like one of those generic air fryers I keep seeing on Amazon, in that they all appear to have a similarly designed cavity and likely share the same 'engine' - but with differing display panels etc. I certainly get the retro design aspect, but do wonder (no pun intended) why they choose to make it look so 'toy like'? - plus I think the point you make, regarding this particular design feature for families with very young children is a most valid one!

@@CandidClara I agree and a very unfortunate design flaw overlooked! I'm guessing they tried to give this oven the 'signature' look from their cookware range and inadvertently got it wrong?

What are your views on non stick coatings? Are there ones we should avoid? or not worry about? I am unsure to buy an (cosori) airfryer. most of my pots amd pans are metal/iron.

This is a complicated question and I don't have the relevant training to answer it properly, but I try and take a sensible approach... I get messages every week from people telling me half a dozen things in my kitchen will kill me (!!) chopping boards, different oils, microwaves, non-stick coatings, chickens. Life is not without risk, if I can swap a risky thing for a better thing easily I will. I'm trying a plastic-free chopping board for instance, but for now I try just to look after my non-stick cookware and not use it if it's damaged. However I know it is important buying consideration for people and I am trying to do more reviews of appliances which are entirely PTFE free, but they are hard to find, so far I can only point you towards the Wonder Oven... kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZ2vaYimer-Fe6c

Has anyone noticed the outside gets EXTREMELY hot?? I’ve had this oven for 3 months and never really noticed until today when I was using the toast feature… and when I tried to turn it on again it shut off before the timer ran out.

I'd way rather have a dual-drawer Airfryer than this. Maybe combo with a Salamander, and an Instant Pot. Sure, that's multiple units but each of them will do things superbly.
