Honestly I been a fan of Philips since the 2000s with my sound bar that is still pumping. They made almost always great products at a good price.

Got the 43 inch for 250. This thing is a BEAST. Using it for a desktop monitor for work and play. 4096 will only go to 120hz, You get 144 with 3840. You need HIgh seed HDMI 2.1 cables certified to get the full spec.

You're not supposed to use that 4096x2160 resolution, even though windows thinks it's the ideal resolution, it's not. The reason you saw artifacts is because the TV is downscaling it to 3840x2160!

Use HDMI 3 or 4 inputs because they're HDMI 2.1... HDMI 1 and 2 are HDMI 2.0 only. This should enable 144Hz, could fix HDR, and could enable a color format better than YCbCr420

Make sure you're using an actual HDMI 2.1 cable as well

I got the 43in version from Walmart sale as well. Working well so far. The spec mentions 3840x2160 @ 144hz. I haven't hooked it up to a pc to test that yet.

I bought the same one as you. To do 144hz you will need to use HDMI 3 or 4 and resolution of 3840x2160. I have been pretty happy with mine. It's awesome that it has Bluetooth. I haven't tried it yet, but I want to hook up some Bluetooth headphones and/or an Xbox controller. The headphones would be great for private listening at night, and the controller would be good for emulation. This TV is not strong enough for N64, but stuff under that works fine. I used a USB controller at the time.

Use a VPN and you can view things anywhere, no geography blocking.

I have the 43" version. I have been having issues with the fandango at home/VUDU app. I own hdx and uhd movies on there, but playback says its only standard def. I used drm checker, and I have widevine L1. Other apps seem to work fine.

I know TCL 4 series looks friggin great at the cheap cheap and so did Vizio v series. So m series must be really good. You want it to last by Sony. Oh the higher grade Hisense is also really really good this year

Good tv only use hdmi4 . HDMI 1,2, only do 60hz
