You just have to love Ant’s input. First he breaks the gun then suggests that melting it down and re forging and re making would be the only way to improve it. A really fun and entertaining video of a cheep old gun. TGS videos generally brighten my day, this hasn’t disappointed.
@regobar Жыл бұрын
This gun had probably belonged to Mr. Esteban Azkue Larrañaga or Mr. Eladio Valduvi. Both national and international Trap and other clay shooting modalities. So the gun has its history on Spanish o/u short history gun making and professional sport shooting therefore there it is two good enough reasons to call it a bargain that can also be restored for a little and retain collector and shooter value. You ( TGS ) make really fun and comprehensive videos. Congratulations.
@d.picket6402 Жыл бұрын
I think it would make a great video if you did a restoration job on it. To see the difference from start to end and also to show people you can put life back in old guns with some history and character.

I was stationed at RAF Chicksands from 90-93 and bought on for about the same price. Malcolm Jenkins (1976 British Olympic Trap Team) restocked it for me. Loved it for what it was and it shot great. Keep up the good work!

The prices of used over/unders in the U.K. makes me rather envious. Not envious enough to trade my ability to run to the shop and buy almost anything short of full auto with a background check and enough funds and getting an elk license almost every year but still a little envious.

For a £100 or $125, I'd say it's a great value. A great historical piece anyone can afford. I've seen firearms in worse shape go for more. I'm in the States, so you're hard pressed to find any firearms at that price.

My comment is on the quality of your guests on your shows. I could listen all day to Simon Rienhold talk to the history of SXS shotguns - a true intellectual. I am fascinated with Ed Solomon's ability to turn the theory of shooting lnto reality. What can you say about Ant. He provides the comic relief that keeps your show enjoyable. By the way what is Ant's real name?
