You know some Stoeger engineer said they should throw in a lock washer, but some exec said it would cost another 5 cents!!!!

I’ve had my M3000 for 3 years and have put a little over 1200 rounds through it, about evenly split between trap loads and 3” duck loads. Still as tight as the day I got it.
@ActiveDutyOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
That’s good. If it ever does come loose, a little lock tight fixes it pretty good.

Turkish shotgun adapter, Magpul stock. Loctite and call it good as new. The furniture that comes on most shotguns is garbage ABS anyways.

Anywhere around $500 would be good for new. $350 for used in good shape, as long as it’s not shot out.

Would the wooden stock have the same problem?
@ActiveDutyOutdoors Жыл бұрын
That’s a good question. I would think it wouldn’t be as prone considering the wood would absorb more of the shock.

I was pretty frustrated too. Turned out to be pretty easy to fix. They definitely should have had better quality control on their shotguns.
@michaeldelrossi44872 жыл бұрын
It's the Hard Plastic Stock and you probably need a lock washer under the butt plate nut!

That’s what I put on. No problems after that.

This just happened to me. It only happened at 53 rounds tho. At 20 rounds the bolt release pad broke off. Like the screw in there broke off half way now I have to find out how to take it out. At 53 the stock came so loose I had to put it away. I’m going to deal with the stock today but I will not have fun trying to take that broken screw out. My advice to anyone looking at these Turkish shotguns, tighten everything down and use blue locktite before you even shoot one single shell
@ActiveDutyOutdoors Жыл бұрын
It’s a shame that they haven’t fixed this issue yet.
@memicusdankis4212 Жыл бұрын
@@ActiveDutyOutdoors I did not add a locking nut but got it very tight and added locktite. Hopefully I will not need to add more in the future. To be fair I shot federal tribal deep penetrator slugs right out the box. Whole lot of power. Mechanically everything is perfect. Just stupid loose nuts and screws

had my M3500 V2 for maybe a month or two now and i’d say 300 shots and the stock is wobbling that and the paint is scuffing fast had some surface rust issues but that’s my fault for storing it wrong but the weather in Louisiana is ass backwards i need a safe

I was worried about that too. I was going to put my safe in the garage and decided against it. Just too humid here.

@@ActiveDutyOutdoors yeah i recently seen some Gun Sock things but idk if that’ll really prevent that much rust just have to keep it wiped down and friend of mines dad said Mineral Oil just rub it and leave it light coat it won’t rust as much so im gonna test that before i head out on a 3 day duck trip this wejeend

Yeah, oil is the best thing to prevent rust. Like you said, a light coat and it should prevent it.

I don’t see why not, if you could find a pistol grip that fits it. It’s only held on by a nut and bolt.
