Hi guys, another great review! My Stoeger m3500 has been flawless and I actually bought another in camo for hunting where the walnut will be for skeet and trap from now on. I will tell you after almost 500 rounds of every different type of ammunition you can put in this thing it simply will not eat the Aguila brand ammo in any form. Jams 100% of the time, failure to feed, discharge, double loading, ect. It's like a kid that won't eat his vegetables. I tried the same thing on my first 3500 that literally has thousands of rounds through it, same thing but not as bad. Federal, Remington, Winchester, estate loads are all fine and zero problems. Great gun for any price! Thanks again.

these stoeger shotguns are true to form... They use the same super fast action as the Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 action... Can not go wrong on the price and performance of both of these firearms. Great review of these items guys

I've had great luck with mine. Love it 26in barrel max 4. Took awhile to get it cycling light loads reliably. 1 1/8th oz light loads it had some trouble 1 1/4 oz dove loads were flawless. Never had a hiccup with duck or Turkey loads. If you try and close the bolt easy and quiet make sure the head rotates or it will just click. At one point I left the bolt locked back for a few weeks it runs super easy now. The recoil reducer that goes in the butt stock seemed to cause some issues with light loads when installed. I've had mine for several years picked up from a guy for 450. He bought it as a back up gun and didn't shoot it much. The Turkey pattern in mine was amazing with the stock turkey choke and long beard xr 3.5in #6 12in circle at 40 yards with 450ish pellets in it. So tight I mount a red dot for turkey season. Put a Carlson cremator lr in it and about every duck load I patterned was inside a 30in circle at 40 yards. Old Christmas paper and a pallet works great. I put some rubber grip tape on mine on the forearm and grip like you have on yours! I love it. To me it makes it look great and functions awesome with wet, dirty or gloved hands plus I think it makes it look great. I've had it on through several hunting seasons with no issues. I picked up a roll of it on Amazon used blue masking tape and taped over the checkering and marked around it with an ink pin. Then I pulled it off and stuck it on the back of the grip roll and cut it out with scissors. Cleaned the checkering with alchohol and put it on an also used a heat gun to just warm it to make sure it stuck good. I did my son's tri star raptor and have given some away to buddies everyone loves it. Most don't believe it's a stoeger at first look. I also swapped my bead out for a champion long bead. Helps make me keep my head down when I get excited. The fiberoptic is recessed in the tube so you can't see it if your not down on the gun. The trigger is heavy and so is the gun. That's my only complaint. I've had mine dirty as heck and in water in nasty weather, it just runs. I use it as a tool. Last year I picked up a magazine tube extension from Carlson and got to test it on some snows. First day shot I know over 100 shells the second day about half in freezing temps without a hiccup. I have been looking at the girsan mc312 some. The stoeger m3020 is freaking awesome too. I have some pattern pictures on Instagram if anyone wants to see those. Not trying to self promote just wanted to share. Mabey help someone out or mabey I'll even learn something.

Great review and great information gentlemen... I love a 'father-n-son' team, but it's just only one of my three sons gotten into guns. Before I went into the store (Sportsman's Warehouse - terrible customer services) I've always wanted a Benelli Super Nova with 26" barrel for quail hunting so I've done countless research as well as watched KZbin videos on it, but soon as I handled one... the thing was like a dinosaur in my hands and weighs 8lbs. (I'm 5'3"). I was like, there's no way I'm going to carry this thing all day hiking and chasing quails in the rugged terrains in California. As I looked around, this Stoeger M3000 caught my eyes because it's some what similar to my Benelli Montefeltro, if you lay them down side-by-side. And also, because I like the inertia-driven system - less parts and easier to break down, clean, and put it back together. I look at Stoeger and Benelli as Toyota and Lexus (lol). I'm excited but darn it... I have to wait a 10 days period in CA. I can't wait to pick it because bandtail pigeons season is just around the corner.

Yes sir he is my right hand man! Yes sir they are very easy to breakdown and clean. It makes life very easy and also doing in in the field makes it easy. Good luck on your quail hunts and pigeon hunts! Let me know what you think about it once you hunt with it. Thank you for watching the video and commenting.

Got that same gun with the same Grumpy duck!! Question: what is the difference with the button release and the flat one and do the chokes that come with it shoot steel through them, thanks
@cantgetenoughoutdoors1136
@cantgetenoughoutdoors1136 2 жыл бұрын
The flat release I believe just gives you a bigger surface to engage the action. Instead of that small button. If wear gloves while hunting it’s easier to use. The choke tubes I have no idea I have them still in the tubes they came in. I have never put one in my gun. I use JEBS and Carlson tubes. My sone has Carlson and code black duck and code black goose. I really appreciate the comments and watching the videos!!

My local Bass Pro had that Stoeger m3500 for just over $500, while Walmart across the street has the Tristar Viper G2 camo waterfowl, for just under $500; both guns capable of shooting 3 1/2'' shells.. I am on the fence as to which to buy tomorrow !!!!

@cantgetenoughoutdoors1136
@cantgetenoughoutdoors1136 2 жыл бұрын
The 3.5 isn’t that bad really. But I pull let your wife stick with the 3’s. We don’t really shot much 3.5’s at all. We get it down with 3 inch shells on everything. 3.5 in my opinion is hype and over compensating. It’s might help but definitely not a must. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
