This story of woeful gooning is mesmerizing. I was painting and I've fully stopped and looked up at the screen. He just loops his ideas into each other like a knit sweater. A knit sweater on a tiny trojan horse with a personal growth lesson inside. I do not regret subscribing today.

why does a video about breaking your wrist while strokin it have the best advice about anger ive ever heard in my life and so wiseful
@tildemyou28 күн бұрын
I just found you the past couple days but I saw you're trying to go full time and I'm rooting for you but also low key concerned? 2 vids per day is a lot for this kinda format. ANYWAY. I wanna share something my mom told me and lots of other people that's always been a helpful lens for this particular topic: Anger is always from a place of fear or pain. So this is helpful sometimes, for different reasons. But if you're having issues with anger a lot, maybe start trying to identify what hurt or scared you in the situation and what you can do to address that (if anything! Including various types of acceptance) in the future. Alternately, if anger is not just the only thing you can express but it's the only thing that really FEELS, like, everything else feels dull and shitty, I haven't watched much of your videos so idfk your mental shit and I'm not gonna armchair diagnose. But apparently it's more common than I thought for people have dysthymia (Persistent Depressive Disorder) and with that it's common to find a sense of pleasure from "negative" emotions because at least it's some kind of controllable, intense, feelable feeling. Food for thought, been thinking about these topics and doing a lot of reading and stuff about them myself, so wanted to leave a comment. Don't burn yourself out before you even get a chance to start, rooting for you fam

But what???(I didn't think it could get more unhinged and deeper emotionally than the last one at the same time., but trust it can) But tell ne why this was actually so deep. No pun intended. Like emotionally. Feel, Be human, just feel. Fr man, ffr.

Anger is a motivational force; what we do with it is up to us. All feelings are valid. ❤ Well said. I broke my toe in anger, too: that was 13 years ago, and the toe still hurts when it gets cold and damp outside. So glad that I don't have a johnson to worry about breaking. 😂 (Although I think I'm past the "internalizing bad feelings" stage now. 🤞)

emotions are hormones and anger sends hormones that put a cap on our ability to think. that was evolutionary useful so we would act instead of sit there and think about smaller consequences or end up not acting. so theres scientific proof that anger makes stupid my neighbor asked me to help her build a shelf and there was one screw missing. after we couldnt find it anywhere at all, she was the type who kept searching, and i was the type not exactly giving up, but sitting down thinking "is there any place where we didnt search but didnt think of" and conteplated whether we have to wait til the next day and buy a screw, because we had no proof that ikea didnt put too few screws right? in the end she finally came to the shelf where we had now placed the tools on and lifted them, and the screw was under one of them in an angle we absolutely couldnt see. she ended up finding it with her method and mine didnt work that time lol
