I believe Psychic Frog's is not just a nod to Psycatog but also, another Odyssey card Shadowmage Infiltrator, which has Fear and draw a card when it connects. There's a reason these two cards are connected. The story goes that some group was play testing for a tournament and couldn't afford Shadowmage Infiltrators, so they were using Psychatog as proxies, because they had the same casting cost. They quickly realized that Psychatog was just better in most situations. So now we have one card with the best elements of these two cards smooshed together.

I suggest prismatic vista or fabled passage to synergyze with the bloodghast trigger, that way you could cut some land, also I think stuborn denial is better than spell pierce // Thanks for the video, its a nice deck

29:20 you can dodge the surgical extration by exiling the card that was targeted with frog to give it flying. by doing so, the surgical extraction does not resolve and you keep your other 3 blood ghast in the deck

Psychic Frogs full art Extended Versions Art is so amazing! I don't know if it's available on arena or whatever but I paper it's sooooo cool! Not Psychic frog, but more Psychedelic Frog!!! Whoo!!!! Nadu doesn't work as well without free equipments unfortunately.. Theres ways to make equips free on arena but it makes it a 3 card combo and a lot more inconsistent :/

A core of Psychifrog, Chthonian, Satoru, Bloodghast, and Stitcher's was identified as pretty bonkers in early access - so it feels a little disingenuous to say that you broke it.

Not that I was aware of, I saw something similar in modern for the first time from aspiringspike yesterday, then I took relevant 20 cards and built a historic deck around it

That’s kinda my point - saying that you “broke it” when you moved the core 20 from modern to historic is IMO disingenuous. I get that it’s not as brand building to say in the video that you took someone else’s modern deck and tweaked it for historic. But maybe give credit where it is due, or at least don’t take it where it’s not really yours to take. As someone who’s trying to build their brand as a competitive deck builder catching you stretch the truth makes me question what other brews you might have lifted/tweaked then called your own. All that being said - I really enjoy your content. Just a bit miffed by the intro.

@@Shrekky7 The difference is Ash has stated that she wants to be taken seriously as a competitive deck builder. If she just wanted to be a clickbait content creator, I wouldn't care if she stretches the truth about her brews. It's like someone saying "I wanna be taken seriously as a writer" and then you find out they're plagiarizing in attempt to get more recognition. Either commit to being a pure entertainer, or have some higher standards when it comes to presenting decks that you lifted from other brewers.
