So very professional. I can’t imagine the AT&T techs here in the US taking the time to repair a broken water pipe and would probably just shrug their shoulders and leave it to the homeowner to deal with.

I’ve been hearing a lot of that. Very surprising.

Hey tag me next time you're on. I got a couple questions I'd like to ask you about your job. I put in some apps today for a different company doing fiber, and the one is a traveling technician. And I think it's more similar to the work you do. Instead of the kind of installs I currently do. So I wanted to ask you about how your pay works. I do all residential currently, and I do the drops and feed line. Along with installing the Onts and routers. And I also install phone service and cable boxes while on the fiber install if the workorder requests it. I don't get a hourly rate either,I get paid by the job. The new job i applied to pays $40 per hour,plus a additional $15 per hour if you own your own truck and tools. AND a additional $700 per week for board and lodging. The pay sounds insane. But for all i know it's not that great. So id like to hear what other techs in other areas make . I'm making the move to a new company because I found out my job is shorting me on pay. We claim job codes for each task on installs,well they're taking our codes off. So we're not getting paid for the work we're doing. I went from making $2600 per week,down to making $1200-$1600 per week the last 3 months. Its bullshit

@@glassonglass6347 dude that sucks. But good on you for finding the opportunity and going for it. Sounds like a good gig and decent pay. I’d be interested to learn what the work flow is like. And the day to day. Feel free to email me Tiago@altitechnicalsolutions.com or follow me on insta @FyBurzYT and we can dm 👍🏼

@FyBurz thanks man sounds good. I'll shoot you a email. I'm literally still looking through my job codes right now from last week for each install I did. And I'm seeing billing codes that my boss removed,so I don't get paid for the work. So im out of there asap. They sent me to a few service calls last week,that I ended up having to redo the entire fiber install because the previous tech did it all wrong. Boss told me he'd pay me for the full installs,I never got paid them though of course. I work for the biggest service provider in the area too it's ridiculous

@@glassonglass6347 I think hire ups wouldn’t like to know that’s happening.

For the irrigation repair, next time look into slide couplers. Makes it easier and you don’t need to expose as much pipe. Glad you actually cared enough to fix though as most would leave it broken and cover back with dirt.
@FyBurz9 ай бұрын
Yeah unfortunately this is all I could find at Home Depot. And of course man, I could never leave it broken 😅

I am amazed by the skills you got. I am also surprised in none of your videos have I never seen home owners come talk to you or bug you lol

Well to be fair I usually cut them out. But at the end there you can kinda hear them talking. Saying they’re happy 😅

Love these tricky drop install vids! How come you strip off such a crazy long amount of the drop to coil up in the NID?
