Considering the amount of mass that each switch has, + changes in density of the black colored switches/the transparency of the container. We can calculate just by counting them, for which I'd say there's around 53 switches in the smol container :3

Accounting for the sound in decibels of Lewis picking up the container, the amount of time it takes him to move said container 1 meter, and the amount of time it takes him to move the keyboard 1 meter, we can make a proportion to solve for the containers weight. As such, by finding the total weight of his keyboard, the switches inside the container, the density of the container, and the size of the container, I can confidently announce that there are a total of 3 switches in the container.

Hmm by judging the container, I will use some Remainder Theorem and factorial to determine the size and ratio of the switches. Lastly, by counting the switches I think it is = 71 switches.

By using engineer's theorem we can approximate the number of switches in height to 4, the length to about 5 and around 3.5 wide which is -> (width * lenght * height) ~= 70 switches

71 switches. By measuring the size of a switch, the container has a size of 5 by 3 switches, so each layer can fit nearly 15 switches, so there are 4 principal layers, and between the gaps can fit more switches, so my final answer is ±71.

Looking at the picture: Around 6 switches along the length of the container, 3 along the width, and around 3 even layers would yield 6*3*3 = 54 switches for the bottom 3/4s. The top layer is a bit messier, so counting (and estimating) one by one got me around 22 switches. 54+22 = 76 76 switches total

You cannot actually see the amount of switches in the bottom. Which is a smart move by Lewis. There are most likely 5 switches along with the length and 4 switches along the width and 3 switches in height. All combined is around 60switches and 70switches. So I will make a guess at around 66 switches

the ultimate budget keyboard will be CX60 on Taobao (acrylic stacking, only costs $25, comes with a soldering 64 PCB with bottom LED RGB, south-facing, type-c), Gateron Yellow Pro on Taobao (70 pcs will be around $15, but if you get on to Xianyu, it will be much cheaper, probably $10 for 70 pcs), 125-keys XDA Shimmer theme PBT keycap (costs no more than $12 for a set). All the prices above are not including tax and shipping fees. SO, if you have any friends in China or will take a trip to China, you gotta go try it, it saves tons of money in this hobby.

Math Time. - A generic keyboard switch is around 15.6 mm in width. Using this, we can find that the container is about 5 switches wide, and 3 switches deep (78 mm wide, 46.8 mm deep.) - The length of a switch is around 18.5 mm high, so we can find that the container is about 4 switches tall (62.4 mm.) - Since the container to me does not look full, I will take away one layer of switches from it being full, leaving it at 43.9 mm high. - To calculate the volume of the not fully full container, we will multiply the height by width by depth (HxWxD) (78x46.8x43.9) and get 160,252.56^3. - Next we will calculate the volume of a switch (18.5x15.6x15.6) and get 4,502.16^3. - Finally, to calculate the amount of switches in the container, we will divide the volume of the container by the volumes of a single switch (160,252.56/4,502.16) and get 35.59459459 which we can round to get 36 switches. In conclusion, using math, I have achieved the most possibly wrong answer of 36 switches in the container. If you see any problems in my math please leave a reply to this comment. btw $100 for a "budget" keyboard is luxury to me lol. good job tho.
