The Reason I loved this kit is due to the fact that it is super easy build, Ticks a lot of top tier features and most importantly it sounds good ! Good option for newbies into the hobby.

However, there's a huge caveat in your logic. CIY GAS 67 on aliexpress is $20 more, and like 80% of the time the kits aren't even there. The CIY GAS 67, after rummaging around for an hour, was $48.49, which was the absolute cheapest which I could find.

A good way to fix interference in boards is to fit a small piece of paper into the row which has interference in the stem of the keycap. This prevents the interference.

but the amount of paper you put in there will vary so all the keycaps will be a slightly different height

Hey Lewis, You should consider doing manual focus when filming yourself- the autofocus is on the microphone in front of you With manual you won't need to worry about not being in focus since you do it right one time and it stays that way :)

Heard Box Inks doesn't have interferance with cherry profile switches so it could be a good alternative premium linear switch for north facing boards.

you can still use oil kings with cherry profile caps because of a little notch on the top housing of almost all gateron switches

When I first started looking at mechanical boards a few years ago, most of the cheap ones were absolute trash. There were no hot swap options, they came with the cheapest possible switches (quality wise, not just price, just not good), and modding them was not much of an option for most people. Now, man, there are so many options out there. Either kits for $50 or less, or even just easy to mod, hot swap, full built boards can be found for as little as like $25 bucks these days. Sure, you're going to spend more if you want different switches, do some mods, etc, but even stock, many of them come with decent switches and even have several options to choose from, so you can at least get started with a set of switches you probably won't hate, so you have time to save up before you try and change things up a bit.

No, the build quality we'll be far apart since the tufo is a nice peice of aluminum and this is cheap plastic, If you haven't yet just o ring mount your tofu.

Warning: Do not put too much foam in the case since the case is made of acrylics. When I got my kit all the screws stripped the inside of the case and it wouldnt screw in.

I haven't seen too many reviews on this board, but an issue I had with mine was that the switches would never properly go in the pcb and the stabilizers, especially the backspace didn't spring back up. Is there a fix that you know?

I actually like hearing about taobao offers at least for reference. Once I had checked, but after adding payment and shipping costs it just has not been much cheaper anymore. Locally, I have not Transaktion costs and 3-5€ shipping. Waiting a month less for 5 bucks higher total price is an easy choice for me. However, to use taobao from Europe you have use a third party to order in Chinese and coordinate out of China shipping. If your video or comment is explicit enough for me to know what exactly you ordered (remember is cannot read a single word on the website and they often bundle different versions under one offer), I would be much more comfortable to checking it out also for shipment to Europe.

According to Keybored, yes. You would want no plate dampener and thin case foam. Because thinner foams absorb high-pitch sound more than low-pitch ones, the lower sound gets amplified relatively.
