A PRIVATE car designer has spent 10 years building a one-off supercar - and it can now reach 200mph. Adam Taylor completed the unique vehicle inside his Hawaiian garage, the build process spanned several states and he enlisted the help of two shops that had specialised shaping equipment. During his student and grad years, Adam worked tirelessly to bring his initial design to life and ended up achieving his dream with a 950hp and 8,000rpm engine. @mrgee six well first off I'm not in the business of trying to prove things to people on KZbin who have a picture of Ron Jeremy as their profile picture. While I do build cars, I would never sink six figures into an RX-7, FD or not. When I'm done putting a car together I never claim it's a supercar. I merely stated an observation that I had which was that this was just an RX-7 with a body kit and a V8. There's tons of high horsepower really fast RX-7S on KZbin, you don't see any of them claiming that their RX-7 is a supercar.

@@arevo8702 it's not custom at all. The front end came of a body kit from Japan. It's the V3 circuit kit. (I don't have the Japanese symbols of the company's name) The sides and rear end came over the v2 kit car that the company had. This is not custom made at all. The only thing that's custom are the wheels. I'm well aware of the kit because my RX-7 has that kit (I didnt do the rear end conversion kit " the kit cost $14,500usd with the rear end conversion set") the kit was well known as the extreme circuit kit they produced in 2007.

(I live near Fuji Japan) and that kit is common for expensive builds but the company you are talking of is no longer running. They sold all of there remaining kits to the US market 3 years ago and roughly around 700 kits made it to the US/Canada for the last I recall since the company sold there 1 off custom rear engine RX-7 "Tamons designed" to the US as well and was sold 350,000usd since it had the 2.5l Mazda V6 that came out of the MX-6 which was boosted to 550hp
