Bro love your videos as usual, imma give you a few ideas of things you may consider. Use washers on the motor/transmission mounts to lift the engine up higher, once you got the perfect amount get custom spacers made 1 piece per mount, or even custom mounts, but using the washers you can get a more accurate idea of how much to modify. Instead of settling the thinner bottom lip, just 3D print a whole "aftermarket" looking bottom lip that covers the whole bottom edge of the bumper, but also looks good enough that you like it, even though I personally think it looks amazing the way you have it already 😎👍🏼

The trick to stock metal from cracking more is to drill a small hole at the ends of the cracks and then weld the crack up.

(New Ding Dong here) I'm a 3d modeler for a living as well in DFW and I'm building my son's Accord right now. It's funny man, I'll have a question and maybe 5 minutes later in the video you answer it. The only thing I really want to ask is..If you have access to sheet metal, want to learn more about welding, and you have all these custom parts, then why not go that route? I 3d print stuff all the time for my cars but never anything on this scale. You have great videos bro. Can't wait to see more.

Re: Squeak: Are all of the exhaust hangers hung, and hung on rubber? Tx mount still intact? Center bearing (driveshaft) bolts tight? Rear diff to sub-frame bolts tight? I've chased down more than a few squeaks on my 2GS. Hope you find yours!

impressive work man car is coming out sweet i got a question, ive been trying to make 3d printed parts for my car for like a year now the furthest ive gotten is with a full bumper but it started bending after leaving it in the sun for a couple weeks it didnt show up untill it was too late to fix so im wondering how did u manage to work around the heat issues ive been using pla and pet-g, i had terrible experince with both and i tried asa but couldnt manage to print big parts well so gave up on that

You could print, mould, and recast in fiberglass, super time consuming but literally infinite body panels. Tofu auto works did this for a r35 or something plus other cars you should go check that out

@@AJ_130been watching tofu works vids hes nuts, been watching it and revisiting it quite a lot, its just a problem with products, i can only get a handfull of stuff to work with just regular 300gm fiber and some basic resin that i dont even know whats it intended for Im currently designing a bolt on oem kit just small skirts and bumper extensions to make my life a little easier, gona put my all into it hopefully it comes out great

I wonder if the sqeak could be a soft transmission rear mount? Like it's flexing more than it should and is moving enough for the driveshaft to come in contact witth the exhaust even tho you said you were going to trim the offending area. Just a thought.

That squeak might be from exhaust hangers (metal rod goes trough rubber and starts making noises when sand or dirt goes in) at least this happened to me on my soarer. That left rear hanging rod is driving me insane for years already. I tried to change it and the noise is still keeps re-appearing after a few months in the same spot. In my case, i know exactly its it, because if i try to shake exhaust pipe it is clear where it comes from

Also, id say check you rear suspension for the squeak, when prizzamike was in your trunk it stopped squeaking so it has to be something with suspension I'm guessing

unfortunately I'm not even an intermediate at cars but my guess at the squeaking sound sound would be that you might need a new exhaust gasket thing or maybe one of your mid pipe or exhaust hangers is doing some weird stuff... that's my guess at least but once again, I'm not the best with cars yet.

half way thru video and didnt see if you did it or not, but that bar you put the bolt on and its mounted next to your catch can. i would mark that hole so if you ever remove it you know exactly where it goes back that's if it does ever come off

It will be mounted by itself like OEM, that's the only reason it's glued onto the OEM bumper to retain the exact OEM flanges

Since cracking of your exhaust is also an issue and I guess you manufactured the exhaust by yourself, did you use some exhaust flex pipes between the headers and the rest of you exhaust?? I think the exhaust is squeeking because now it is 1 solid piece of metal coming from your engine and doesn't allow any movement from your engine.

The exhaust is stock with all the resonators replaced with straight pipes. Every bend and everything else is original. It's cracking cz it's 32 years old lol

Idk if it's just me, but during your test after installing the new bushings, when you input steer, it looked visibly delayed. If you play any video games, it's latency/input lag. Like you'd steer, then half a second after or more, the car would turn. Weak power steering maybe?
