I've used recycled skateboards as a furniture-making material for a while because they tend to be essentially well-glued, similarly dimensioned pieces of maple plywood. They work out to be more interesting and cheaper than birch veneers, which all end up looking very mid-century modern no matter what you do. But between Skate Guitar, Aardvark, Musk, Prisma, Skate Or Design Furniture and copycats, the price of the material has risen about 230% in the past 2 years. Pretty wild.

I have recently taken to watching videos of guitars being built from a variety of different materials. From Glass, Paper, Lego Bricks, and so on. As far as your builds go, this was the third of your videos that I've watched, and as far as I'm concerned, this "Skateboard Guitar" is, surely your best and most beautiful build. Keep up the good work. I'll continue watching. I envy your skill.

Glad you didn't make an April fools video, because you were working on this beauty instead! The colors the skateboards left behind look really cool, and the pattern you made with them is perfect, same with the shape you came up with. Fits really well with a skater aesthetic.
