I Built A Low Car City Based Off Switzerland In Cities: Skylines 🇨🇭

I built a city based on Zurich, Switzerland, and the results have been
amazing. Very low traffic and public transport that can take you everywhere
you want to go. I'd love to live here!

That's pretty cool. I've never played this game before -- is it possible to build a city that doesn't include any roads that allow private automobiles within the developed areas?

Not in the base game. But you can get a mod that allows you to block them from certain roads, and you can use this to create car free developed areas like you described. The mod's called Traffic Manager: tmpe.me

Too bad I can't just make a car free city in game and 3d print it to real life. Really want to get out of the US but a lot of things need to happen before I can do that....

I know, I wish I could do the same thing somehow. What's nice about CS is that you're the mayor and you can design the city exactly how you'd like without anyone else intervening :p If you want to go live in another country, here's three ways that I found to be effective: - Study in the other country (grad/undergrad) and then find a job afterwards - Study something in the US that you can take abroad and then usually there's programs that would help you fast track your visa in another country - Join a multinational firm and then do an internal transfer Of course there are more but these are the first three that popped into my mind
