I Built a Rock Crawler Course at my House! Toyota Tacoma gets 40s!

Im new to rock crawling and this little solid axle Toyota Tacoma is a bit tricky to drive. Luckily Id had the opportunity to build my very own home rock crawling practice course! The course proved to be difficult enough to gain some valuable experience and prepare me for a much harder trail the following week. Before I could hit my practice course i had to first mount some massive 40 inch Bfgoodrich Km3 mud terrain tires!

@@Maxx.Powell i had 4:10 geared ton under my 88 toy with duals and 39s it was fine in the woods when i could use the LOw Low range, on road, 4th gear was useless.I regret doing the tons, it was overkill and killed the driveability of my truck.

you need lower gears in that thing espeically with those larger tires.... 1 rotation just increase in length by like 30% transfer case doubler or 4 speed atlas if they do those in yotaland .... tires look good. I think i'll go 39s next time around... just need a a XD60 for the rear before i do

Your beedlock-fu needs some work. The rings should contact the wheel, not float on the tire. If you hit 20lbft of torque before the rings contact the wheel you need to call the manufacturer for a ring spacer. Also, next time put the wheel on a 5 gallon bucket and rotate the tire around the wheel on an angle. The tire will slip right on.
