@@TrendingReviews one thing I can't understand is how you've got that zero 2 cable machine attached to the wall without worrying about it ripping off the wood. Is it still up?

Hi, looks great. Any issues with condensation? Do you think it would be suitable for a home office year round? Thank you
@TrendingReviews Жыл бұрын
Some condensation in the winter but it's very well made and could easily be used as a home office. Gets hot in the summer so definitely need a fan and a heater for the winter

This is amazing! In terms of the flooring, would you recommend deadlifts of 200kg+ or could you think of another way to do the floor to deal with that?
@TrendingReviews10 ай бұрын
Thank you! It depends how many layers of thick rubber flooring you put down on top of the default wooden flooring, because dropping 200kg+ from waist height could still crack the bottom parts of the wood, even though the rubber/padded floors would absorb a lot of the impact. In this situation, I would recommend getting deadlift crash pads, and you'll be perfectly fine - like these: geni.us/fsglh1

@@TrendingReviews excellent thank you! I try not to drop weights but, going for a PB you never know. Wondering if it’s worth trying to build a summer cabin with a concrete floor then adding rubber gym flooring atop it.
@TrendingReviews10 ай бұрын
You're welcome! Yeah if you can build a concrete flooring, that would be the best option, especially if you're going to use the cabin specifically for a gym and have heavy weights dropping quite often. I'm sure you will make it work!

Nice job, very tidy. How is it in cold winter or hot summer times? Do you think you would have benefited from insulating the floor, walls and roof?
@TrendingReviews Жыл бұрын
I think if you have insulation, you would definitely get much cooler summers and warmer winters, but I have a small portable heater and air cooler inside for those specifically extreme times, and they heat/cool the room pretty quickly as its still quite a small enclosed place - but other than that, everything is still maintained well and is very usable!

Sorry for the late reply. I have double layers thick padded floor panels put in and now have a treadmill and it works great.

How has the flooring coped with the weights? Looking to add to our garden but unsure of how resilient the building would be.
@TrendingReviews2 жыл бұрын
Its coped very well. I don't really slam the weights down hard, but I have added a 12mm thick rubber flooring, followed by 10mm rubber cushion floor mats on top of it - so I have a good amount of protection for heavy weights.

Great set up, I have a something very similar and I’m thinking of ordering the zero2. Could you do a review of the zero2 or let me know how good it’s been for you? There’s no reviews of the zero2 or similar machine on KZbin currently. Thanks
@TrendingReviews Жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for the comment! I've actually been very pleased with my Zero2 - I didn't make a review on it, even though I am aware there isn't any other review of it online anywhere - perhaps I might make a quick review on it soon, but for now, I can say its absolutely brilliant. It was well worth the purchase. I actually hired a local tradesman handyman to come give me a hand installing it up on the wall, because my summer house wood is 45mm thick so the bolts/screws that came with it, wasn't ideal for my wall, so my handyman used his own to get it set up just right. Even till this day, I use this machine more than most others in my home gym to do my workouts - including using the max 50kg weights on both handles. Hope that helps!
@seanhibs1093 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the information. Do you feel the weight is heavy enough for most exercises? I read that it’s a 2:1 ratio so was wondering if the 50kg stacks would be enough in the long term. The machine looks brilliant for a small space home gym.
@TrendingReviews Жыл бұрын
@@seanhibs1093 Yeah its definitely heavy enough for most exercises. I don't think theres any exercise I've done on it where I thought its not heavy enough. But tbh, I guess because its bolted to the wall, you wouldn't want it to be really heavy, like 100kg each side, otherwise it might put a risk on getting pulled from the wall plugs and coming off/falling over. But its absolutely brilliant for a space saving design!
@jamiestanding2058 ай бұрын
Hey man, how safe is it being screwed the wooden wall I assume? I imagine if you were doing face pulls that's a lot of pull on the machine coming out of the wall?

Summer House? Is that what you refer to as a shed? That looks really good! Nicely done!

In the UK, a shed is more commonly referred to as a garden equipment storage closet, whereas a summer house is a bigger version of a shed, but for more recreational purposes. But thank you, glad you like the look of it!

hey. currentl;y debating what size to go for for my gym. how do you find the height of the gym? Thank you
@TrendingReviews Жыл бұрын
Hey - I was OK with the height because I'm not that tall myself (5'5). If, lets say, you're 6ft, then perhaps its a little small. But most of my equipment is tailored to fit comfortably within a 2m height, and I still get to do decent pull-ups on the shorter squat rack from Mirafit. Outside of this, I could still easily do burpees, skipping and even overhead barbell jerks. Hope that helps!

How did you reinforce the floor incase you drop weights on it?

Basically, I placed 12mm Thick vibration-absorbing gym mats down on the floors first (geni.us/QUy5), and then I put 2 layers of Foam Mats on top of this (geni.us/Evv353H) Hope that helps!

Hi Umer....I'm thinking about this as a home gym option, moving house where I currently have a spare bedroom as the gym. I have a ForceUSA rack system with dimensions 210cm (W) x 175cm (D) x 232cm (H). The height is key as I need internal cabin height to be 2.32m. What is the actual internal height of the cabin you have as I see you have a rack system too at 1.8 m ? Also need to house a Peleton bike. Cheers for any guidance.
@TrendingReviews8 ай бұрын
Hi Jack - I believe the height of the front part of the summerhouse is 2.3m, and because the roof is angled, the lowest part at the back is around 2m high - so I don't think your rack would be ideal for it, which is why I had to look for a rack that was max 1.8m high (it will allow me to do pull-ups in that way). There are beams that go across the internal part, which stick out, which also reduce the max height something can sit under it aswell. Hope that helps?
@jackgray57498 ай бұрын
Thanks for the rely dude. Maybe need to rethink the roofing style.@@TrendingReviews
