About the game:
Instruments of Destruction features an advanced physics-based destruction system. You can demolish every structure in the game piece by piece. In addition, every object you see in the game world--save for small decorative plants and rocks--is part of the physics system. Each element of the world interacts with each other and together they create a physical, visceral world to play with.
Build Your Vehicle
Build a vehicle your way, with an ever-expanding array of parts and pieces. Using an intuitive vehicle construction system that also lets you customize your vehicles' appearance and controls, you'll always have fun creating your next awesome invention.
From simple splitters to advanced joints, a variety of parts slowly unlock as you play through the game, and each unlocks countless new possibilities.
While some vehicles will perform better than others in accomplishing your objectives, it's always a bit more fun to get creative and go a little off script. Optional bonus challenges and objectives will reward more creative builders and add more replayability.

Just an FYI, in real world physics, bullet velocity is almost directly correspondent to stopping power. Aka, the faster it goes the more it will penetrate, the further it will penetrate, and the more "killability". This is why if you compare an AR-15 to a 22LR, the AR is far more destructive, because while both guns shoot a 22 caliber bullet (0.22 inches diameter), one is shooting 2700+ FPS (feet per second) while the other shoots 1500 FPS tops (average is around 1100-1200). That being said, a BIGGER but SLOWER bullet will more often than not be more devastating than a smaller but faster moving projectile (i.e. a shotgun vs a rifle). For example, above mentioned 22 caliber at 3200fps is rated at 1200 pounds of force or possibly less, but a 44 magnum at 1500fps is rated at just under 1200 pounds, obviously due to mass having more to do with potential energy than velocity. The only other thing that affects power of a projectile is the style of projectile. An FMJ (full metal jacket) will be best for penetration, a hollow point is designed to flatten on impact which suffers lost of penetration for SIZE of penetration (often doubling or tripling the surface area damage) as well as a more tearing style effect vs a piercing.

The bit around 13:40 "Projectiles... traveling at max speed does it really matter if they are explosive?" reminded me of a proposed orbital weapon It would be just dropping a solid tungsten rod from space At speed that it would hit the ground it is thought to make more force than a nuclear device and would be basically impossible to do anything about (since it's a solid hunk of metal) with the added advantage of circumventing pesky international laws about weapons in space

@@ducewags Well the rods themselves, on top of being tungsten, would be 20 ft (6 meter) long and 1 ft (.3 meter) diameter spears weighing in at about 24000 lbs (11000 kg) and could reach speeds nearing 10 times the speed of sound (so about 7500 mph or 12000 kmh), hitting the ground with enough force to bury itself hundreds of feet in the ground and cause an explosion on par with nuclear bunker busters All that by dropping it from orbit and no radioactive fallout either

@@MrFen-ws3vr Did you even read what I typed? The tests have been done by powered and drift mode objects. And just incase you did not know, tungsten is radioactive to start with. Bunker busters, or floor counters as we called them, are powered to dig into the ground. You just can't drop a "thing" and expect it to do what you think it can like dig 100 feet or more in the ground. Would you like to chat about the 100 ton ball we dropped in the sand box of hell back in 1992 from 30,000 feet? How far do you think it went into the ground? Or the speed it made doing that fall? Up next you will tell me a rod will fall faster in air, then a ball right? And yes we dropped rods, cones and box shapes in the test, along with 24in powered wire sabbots fired point blank into the ground, and from 30,000 feet. But you know more then the people that do the testing right?

@@ducewags Hostility and condescension is unbecoming and unnecessary If you wish to have a discussion then it's best not to act in such a way I am simply speaking of something that I find to be a fascinating idea and if you think it's incorrect then that's perfectly fine This is all information from a Cold War era idea that was proposed by the US Air Force that was never implemented due to cost and as such is all theory, yet was still considered within the last 20 years for the exact reason of striking underground targets so one would assume that there is some merit to the idea I suppose the assumption would be that the lack of atmosphere would allow an object to gain and maintain a speed greater than is possible in-atmosphere even once it had entered atmosphere As for tungsten being radioactive you are correct but so are bananas It's the amount of radioactivity that matters, not whether or not it is radioactive I highly doubt you would be able to buy something on Amazon or at the local grocery store if it were dangerously radioactive

Oh my god i have an amazing idea. You should try making a swedish-style MBT. So, what i mean by that, is a tank, wich has no turret and it's gun is built into the hull, and uses the tread's suspension to aim itself up and down

Refire rate: the time between shots 3.0s here means 3 seconds till it fires again Fire rate: how often it shoots in a set amount of time 3.0/s means it shoots every .3 seconds equaling to 3 shots a second. Also I wonder if this game has a shift or Ctrl option to multi select might want to try it

It was registering them hitting water and therefor no longer able to deal dmg. It's weird but if you watch when you're testing randomly it will start splashing with little spash zones for each projectile
