I Built A Walmart For My LEGO City! (Custom LEGO Modular)

This was my first LEGO modular building MOC and I'm so happy with how it turned out! This video itself wasn't sponsored by TLG or Walmart but the KZbin Short content I created was. I just wanted to document my process to show how I built my LEGO Walmart Modular MOC :) It wasn't as intimidating as I initially thought it would be.

I think you can make better improvements to the Walmart sign by making the sky blue bricking area wider. The W just doesn't look like a W and the t looks too much like a backwards j. I think you should either put shelving against the wall or make the back part of the building deeper, so the inside of the store has more depth.

Great MOC. Idea - Maybe attach an adhesive patch on the front of the white drawers or double sided tape & a plate to attach a sample of each item in that drawer.

Since W has about five studs of width available, you may get a nicer looking W by making the connecting part much lower and building a more square or jagged W. One example is four stud wide W with a 4x1 white plate as base, three 1x1 bricks on each side and one 1x1 white brick in the middle above a 1x2 modified plate. This leaves you a one stud space next to the ‘a’.

There is nothing wrong to call the store "Wamart" or "Wallmart". In series or movies they change the name on purpose, because they don't want to get sued (by Walmart).

I’m wondering if you might be better off doing the Walmart sign as a sticker on a tile of appropriate size. Me if I was building a city and had the space I’d probably use a an area 64x64 studs or 64x 96 studs due to Walmarts being so big (translation 2 baseplates by 2 base plates or 2x3 baseplates.
