Love the modern look and the various levels of depth. It is great to hear the process of the build.

Man, the way you support the baseplates is genius! I never would have thought about doing it that way.

When doing stop motion you might want to stick the thing you're building to the floor/table using plasticine or tape, that way it won't shake between frames.

The modern looking dark parts and the brick walls go together so well, good job dude

Also, just a mild criticism on your MILS plates - you don't put enough support underneath the plates on the top layer. You can see as you are building your custom building that you're bending the plates with the pressure because of the lack of support.

Great to see this step by step. And that your telling your ideas and decissions. The colours on the roof are well chosen. And gives extra detail feeling. At the end the build got a nice spot and looks looks at that position

Awesome video! I subscribed! I love the design of this building and how modern it looks! I'm a big fan of the roof and the pergola as well!

Love the build! Wonderfully edited and narrated. I am excited to see what you come up with next. Will you please consider doing LEGO haul videos? I assume you regularly have to restock and I really like to watch unboxings and PAB hauls :)

Enjoyed this video, great to see others designing their own buildings. Thanks for sharing. For my buildings I also use beams and arches to provide structural integrity and support the floor above, as you would find in a real building. I do my floor slightly differently, but the same principle applies. One question: are the light bluish grey highlights part of the original building, as (for me) they seem to break up the lines of the building?
@brickdesignworkshop5 ай бұрын
Hi! Glad you like the build. Yes, the original reference building did have a grey line separating the floors in the same way we used light bluish grey plates between the floors. For this building, I am glad the real world building had light grey separation in the design as we did not have any orange tiles in our collection :). I do agree that it does make it look a little disconnected though.

If you were going to modify the pavement anyway, wouldn't it have been simpler to just convert the actual models to MILS so they'd be on more solid ground than tentative baseplate-over-studs?

Great MOC and excellent video! I’d love to build it myself. Do you plan to publish the parts list and instructions, and perhaps the Studio file?

It's good, but where will you put the stairs (or elevator)? Because for me it's always the most difficult (and lso interesting) part of creating modulars.
@brickdesignworkshop5 ай бұрын
Good question! We will be adding an interior later and in that future video we will add the stairs which will go in the glass section of the building.
