I Built Electric Bike With PVC Pipe

Hi friends today I am going to show how to make electric bike with pvc pipe and Magnesium Alloy Wheel 36v ,250w hub motor. Here I have used 36v ,12A li-ion battery. The range of the bike per single charge is 35 km.

Fill the steering tubes (forks) and other components with sand and then seal them off. They will be as rigid as any metal. It's heavy, but it will make the key parts very strong indeed.

PVC tends to deteriorate its shape after a while. If they shapeout after a while then it will break or loosen the nuts and bolts

Add some shock absorbers to prevent from breaking the bikes body. Remember its made from pvc plastic it wont last long enough even on rough roads or everyday activities.

Very creative, who needs a suspension system? It'll be a flexible bike, with the whole frame absorbing all the bumps. Hey, the idea is show an electric bike could be built within a few hours if all parts, tools, materials and guts are on hand. Nothing is mentioned about frame rigidity, range, max speed, durability and other things you want in a normal bike. It did run, so it's a success! Just make sure you are properly insured and a support vehicle right behind you. You should also be a believer in the power of prayers.

As an advice, I would recommend to also put some screws in the joints for a more durable connection due to the terrain shocks.

I think the glue would never detach unless the joint cracks. And a screw would be what cause the crack

I made a few bows out of PVC, they are good a few shots, then they break. Take care with it, that plastic material is flexible but almost invisible cracks do form each time it's forced a bit.

Front fork is already jerking because CPVC pipes not strong to withstand human weight and all PVC are joined by gum which will be ripped off within one long trip so this idea is only for creativity but not for practicality
