Install tip - Camp's hydraulic hose seems to kink much easier than other brands. When installing the hydraulic hose through the bars and frame, leave the shifter unmounted and off it's mounting bracket. Then attach the shifter to the already in place shifter mounting bracket. This ensures that there isn't any binding of the housing from being shipped in a spiral manner. The shifter will then unravel and be ready to install. This is from several installs. Enjoy!
@GCNalex8 ай бұрын
Thanks, thats a brilliant tip. Routing the hoses through the bars was the "worst" part of the build, but will have to remember that for the future!

The Campag choice surprised me here as I figured Alex to be a Dura-Ace kinda guy. A pure follower of geek trends. I rode Super Record through the 80's and 90's but since then Ive had little reason to spend that much although my Campag Benotto still comes out in the summer. However, my dream build in the next couple of years, once I have some funds is a Super Record equipped Colnago Master in Saronni red... 🤤 New Super Record for a new classic, or old school all the way. That will be the question. Got to admit though, the titanium frame is a nice way to go, and keeping it local is a really good distraction from the potential of Colnago sexiness, given those Mexico frames are on 12+ months order! 😭 Look forward to part 2 Alex.
