Man seing people talk about the "budget not being there" really shows how ignorant people are to this game's animation. This is quite literally some of the best they have done. Just the camera work of this trailer must have taken a LOT of work.

Yeah, the animation is really good... but that's basically It. We get zero characterization in this trailer, we see him fighting some guys, doing a final explosion, and then be teleported to an arena, fight another guy, and then another final explosion. That's It. Which is also super jarring considering there's aways a fanservice part on the women's trailer. He also got a super short trailer, with every limited charater having at least 2 minutes.

@flyingorange2482 Burnice was just dancing and being silly, he was fighting and being cool. It's in line with other trailers. And "that's basically it" is extremely reductive to a trailer that has more animation work than the majority of the other ones if not just Hoyo trailers in general.

@@addollz6192I love this trailer but there is no characterization or story. Animation is next tier and best of the lot but all the girls got a little extra care in displaying moments or core character moments. Burnice may have just been silly and now meme worthy, but that was a perfect trailer in terms of displaying who Burnice was, how she interacts with her team and etc. People i think saying oh this trailer is meh or nothing i think are frustrated with how hoyo treats its male characters historically by not giving the same room to shine or the same opportunities to show development.

Ceaser's trailer is literally the same thing as this one minus the ending scene, Burnice is just her partying and Yanagi is her working. Most of these trailers don't have this care for characterization you are emplying they have. Ellen and Jane probably have the most out of everyone actually.

Lighter's eyes concern me. They are the same as the eyes of Director Sarah

They are similar, but Sarah has little red lines around the iris. Lighter doesn't seem to have those but that would be lit. Maybe he is related, maybe not.
