I Cammed my 4A Swapped Tercel Wagon Schneider Racing Cam Regrind

As a whole I'm happy with the cam. I did have to rejet my carb which helped a ton. at 3k plus it pulls alot harder now id say from 2k to 3k rpm no big change and around the 1k to 2k mark id say a hair of a loss in torque or about the same not really noticeable enough to complain

Cool upgrade, the reason the tappets were so out is because the base circle of the cam has been reduced due to it being a re-grind, I do believe the cam has to break in though, zinc based mineral oil, 2500revs for 20 minutes right after first startup to avoid the lobes from glazing over, then drop the oil, then a fresh oil change, recheck the tappets again, then check the jetting of that carb after all that is done.

As soon as you pulled the distributor out i was like "whelp, 3 times to get that right" It's so annoying how difficult those distrubors are to get going. Great video man! That chop sounds absolutely wild! I can't wait to get mine in the rally tercel. That JDM wheel looks great in there! Also, speaking of distributors. It took me a few tries to get it right on spud 2 when i did the distributor seal.

Dude it's so annoying I lined up the pin it popped right it but was wrong I checked the belt it was dead on after checking the distributor a second time popping it back it I just pulled it out randomly and moved it ahead a tooth and boom fixed. I'm like whyyyyyyyyyy don't they ever work when everything's lined up perfectly lol

Sadly k5 is gone. The 93 blazers been doing good so I haven't had to work on it lol. I'm not sure what else I wanna do to it. I'm debating swapping to the dual piston front calipers and rear disc brakes from the round bodies one day but probably not till next year since the brakes are basically new

Its awesome lol focus on tuning and exhaust now. a nice strait-though style muffler for max flow could help a little, cat delete if any.

Not the one I purchased no. Check their web site maybe they make one for the next gen engine
