Three years shy of the 40th Anniversary of BreakOut... Still one of my favorite bands to ever grace this planet!

Anybody who is somehow into music production/-loving and listens carefully will sooner or later recognize that many of the SOS tunes are a multi layered pieces of art - way beyond regular pop music

I wish SOS could get the commercial success they deserve.. This tune is nearly 30 years old and sounds incredibly fresh..

Thank you for liking the comment. I wish I could see them live. I missed them in 1992 and again in 2018 in London. Both times due to illness. Anyway, we live in hope. Andy Connell is a genius. Corinne Drewry is an angel sent from heaven. Lode yourself in such brilliant tunes as 'making the right move', or the feel good tune 'waters of march with Akiko'. Bliss.

I whole heartedly agree! SOS has not gotten the commercial recognition they deserve. What a phenomenal group!!

Agree 100% as well. Been a fan since the beginning and have loved witnessing (and listening to) the evolution of their music through the last almost 40 years. It’s a shame most people only know them as a “one hit wonder” with Breakout because they’re *so* much more. I’d love to see them live, but unfortunately their touring in the US has been minimal at best. I can still hope…

A track that can shift you to a time, place & people, totally timeless yet of it's time too - I'm thinking late night driving home in late summer, it's getting dark or already dark, my companion & I have had a great day & life is perfect. I can think of 3 special memories between 1992 & 2013 that this track draws me back to...

I don’t know if they won them but they deserve a lifetime achievement award from the Grammys and American music awards this Group has withstood the test of time and their music just keeps getting better and better all the time.

nope...not a thing 😢..Grammy Nominated in 1988 for Best New Artist _ lost to Jody Watley. ...did win the equivalent of a Grammy though, in Japan. In 1997. The Japanese Grand Prix award for favorite single in the country🇯🇵, for 'Now You're Not Here'

This instrumental is so retro-hip! I can imagine this theme being used in a 70's action/crime drama series.
