Any aspiring IAS should understand this: The only solution which will ensure lasting peace in Manipur and northeast is to divide Manipur on ethnic lines and enactment of another States Reorganization Bill:- 1) Churachandpur and Pherzawl districts to be made part of Mizoram. 2) Senapati district to be made part of Nagaland. 3) Chandel, Tengnoupal, Kangpokpi, Ukhrul, Kamjong, Tamenglong and Noney districts remain in Manipur but as separate territorial councils on the lines of Bodoland with full 6th schedule provisions.

In the case of Manipur, the majority Meitei community is not willing to share power with the other two communities, Kuki and Naga. In Manipur, the share of population between Meitei:Tribals is 55:45percent, land is 10:90 percent while the share of MLAs is 40:60. The disparity is too much for the tribals to bear as Meiteis are enjoying power and representation much more than they are supposed to in a democratic country like ours. Since the Meiteis are not willing to give the naga and kuki tribes their fair share, the only way out of this ongoing mess is Separation within the constitonal framework

Please stop playing victim cards first. Their is victim on both side. An , 40 constituency seat by meitei is the reason why you want separate ? The 40 constituency by meitei is unreserved and everyone can contest here. SC is just only recommendation for intrusion of meitei in ST. Everyone know violence happeneing in manipur is not related to ST. Its already pre planned , their is illegal migration issue, drug issue, no border fencing, dream of kukiland by carving out land from india, myanmar and bangladesh ...many more. And last meitei are not againts all kuki, we are against those who want to break inetgrity of manipur, INDIA. No matter which community belongs anyone who want to separate, divide manipur are free to live this country
