I'd need more kitchen space. Two ovens is a must. I wonder if that could just be extended into the breakfast area. Great house, great tour, as always.

I love that big basement! I'm glad there was even a basement for you to show. It helps me picture me in the house better. 😊. I would not put carpet in the dining room though, because people spill drinks & food.

Now THIS is how you showcase a home. Exquisite decorating taste. Real curtains that do not look like shower curtains. Flooring that looks like real wood flooring. A REAL fireplace!
@dbeazrn39342 жыл бұрын
Kitchen is a little small. Hubs loves to cook, so we’d need chef’s grade/commercial grade appliances plus more counter space. Also a larger pantry is a must. Would only have carpet in the bedrooms. The en-suite needs a lot of upgrading, especially with the shower. The closet space was not very impressive, but I understand that we’re dealing with limited sq footage. I do like the layout very much!

Hi Timothy and Jen!! A soaking tub!! Yay! Closets! Yay!! A deck!! Yay!! After seeing the spare bedroom closets, I had high expectations for the master. That's OK! Functional kitchen. Plenty of room for TV placement other than the fireplace. I like it! I thought at first, "oh..another all gray house". But no. Nice mix of warm and cool colors. And yes, that "Heavenly" home is so pretty. It's one that I go back to and dream. That one and the "peach" home. 😍🙏

Is it possible to buy a house from a company that is in a different state than where you live? We are in TN. Thanks, we have been binge watching your channel, loving your house tours!
@TimothyPLivingston2 жыл бұрын
Thank you 😊 so a lot of builders have model centers in most states on the east coast, however, if you see a design you like just share that with your local builder and see if the can’t get you something close but with your personal touch. I think we are also planning a TN trip in March. Jenn has started looking in the area

Love it Tim. I do agree about the kitchen space. In proportion to the rest of the house, it’s on the small side. But everything else is great. Wish NJ was not so expensive. This home would definitely be $800,000 to $1M here, if not more depending on where in NJ it was built.

It was really nice. I was surprised to see such big closets in the bedrooms and then 2 not so large closets in the master. What the heck? Lol Evidently the builder (if a man) doesn’t have a wife with a large wardrobe. Lol. My husband could fit all of his stuff in a dresser and a regular sized closet with dual shelving. I need a lot more space. I’m not a fan of Jack & Jill bathrooms. As a kid 3 of my friends had bathrooms where you could enter from the hall or from the master. We were not allowed to lock the door to the parents’ room because the kids never UNlocked it. So if you were in the bathroom the kids would just go into their parents’ room and walk in on you. When you have Jack & Jill bathrooms somebody is always forgetting to unlock the other door or kids who don’t knock walk in on the other kids. If the Brady Bunch had really lived in that house with 6 kids in ONE bathroom there would have been major fighting every day. 🤣🤣

Very very nice home and iwould love to have it with a few upgrades. Add additional sink in Jack and Jill bath vsnibtu and then drawers down center. Add solid style shelving throughout in all closets/pantry and add some cabinets in the laundry room and the master ensuite I would have a tile shower. Everthibg else is beautiful oh less carpet especially in the dining room I would carry that wood look vinal flooring in to it.

@tamielizabethallaway24132 жыл бұрын
The foyer pillars, I'd add a wall to the left blocking the view of the dining room, and on that wall have a row of coat hooks with shoe shelves underneath. The kitchen, I'd swap the island with the nook.... Flip the island to the left so it sits directly under the window, (well, it would be lower cabinets and sink, not an actual island!) Then join that to where the stove is so the kitchen wraps around that back corner. Then a small breakfast table can go in the centre area instead of the island. No one needs dining table, breakfast table, *AND* 4 bar stools at the island! Is it a kitchen or a café??? 😳 Master bedroom is way too big, considering you have no need for wardrobes in there, there's just a ton of wasted space. I'd put a big closet on the end wall, where the armchair is to the left of the bed, use that wasted space for a closet in the actual bedroom! Then the bathroom doesn't need to be so big as there'd be no closets in there - NO CLOSETS - including the toilet! That would then free up some space in that hallway to make the laundry room much deeper, in which I would add a half bath on one side, laundry on the other. I'd use the pantry for shoving all the cleaning stuff in, opposite the laundry room/half bath. Finally white cabinets throughout, and lose the grey!!! Inside and out! Is it just my OCD....or did that back deck wind anyone else up? It stretched out to two of the lounge window panes...but the whole window is a set of THREE panes....that ruined the beauty of the large three pane window! Chopping a third off! The deck needs to be wider on the left. When you first went in I thought, "oooh hello, this could be a bit special in here..." The initial entryway, office, guest bedrooms were gorgeous....but the kitchen was missing another half a kitchen, the laundry room was too small, there was no half bath, nearest guest bathroom right down the other end next to a guest bedroom, and the master bathroom had closets and doors for days! Meanwhile the bedroom look like a football pitch....with a bed. It was all going so well! Right hand end is lovely, garage is lovely, left hand side needs sorting out better IMO. But although I found some of the usage of space a bit odd, and HATE all the grey, it is a fabulous looking home and looks impressive. The best rooms were the office, guest bedrooms and dining area. All beautiful. And I *L.O.V.E* the windows!!!!!! Those are proper windows!!! Gorgeous views and so much light! Oh and that basement is bloody enormous! But....l wouldn't buy this home even if I could afford it, because it's enormous! The garage is bigger than my actual home! (Seriously!) Or near enough the same size but not much more - and that's more than enough housework for me to be coping with these days! But I'd be happy to be a guest here! That 2nd guest bedroom felt welcoming! But, it's not the quirky log cabin from a few days ago is it...? And that thing stole my heart! That's now the absolute one to beat for me... Even that was too big for my needs lol, but so gorgeous I wouldn't care lololol! 😘😘😘

Carpet in the dining room? No man, who did that, ew. That's so 1960s'

No thanks. Did I miss it? I didn't see anything resembling a driveway anywhere around the house. How would one even access the property? And grass right up to the "garage door?" If I'm wrong, sorry. If I'm correct, you need to up your evaluation game and mention something so fundamental.
