Fantastic video, man! So, as someone who owns this camera, I think Fuji really hurt themselves by sending this camera out with just the 55 F1.7 lens to be reviewed by so many. The 55 is outstanding in the quality images it produces, but the 55 and 80 are the two worst and slowest autofocusing lenses in the GF system, as they both lack a faster and smoother Linear Motor. The AF is so very good on this camera with a 45-100, 32-64, 100-200, 110 F2, or pretty much any LM GF lens. Unfortunately, I think so many viewers are getting the wrong idea about the camera's capabilities because of this particular lens' non-linear DC motor AF limitations.

Ya i totally get you. I would've loved a LM lens to test the new AF because I know it's capable of more. But the 55mm and the 80mm are gorgeous lenses. I love the images I produced with those lenses..

Nice picture and nice color and nice overall rendering. I wonder why lot people talk about larger sensor depth of the field. Today we have the best option to control DoF with FF, just because of fast and long lenses

I never owned the 55mm, but I recall it being one of the slowest focusing lenses in the GF lineup. I love the files from the 50S and 100S though. Truly GLORIOUS. ❤ The colors you captured here are beautiful!

The GF 55mm is made for the GFX 100 II. It is actually one of the fastest GF lenses on the GFX 100 II. I am more disappointed about the GF 80mm.

The 80mm and the 55mm are by far the slowest - you're totally right. I think the "fastest" I've used is the 45-100 since it has a LM AF system. Like the 110mm that Tung talked about. 55mm is a slow-use lens. Beautiful at 1.7 though.

Awesome photos🤩👍! Medium format looks so great! But to be honest, do we really see it, when most photos today were published online? I can understand professional fashion photographers or product photographers who are using medium format. But for me as a hobbyist I think it’s a little bit overkill - although I sometimes feel the itch😅. But if I would buy a medium format camera it probably would be the Hasselblad X2D. It looks so much better than the Fuji😇.

Hello, What beautiful images and dream sport^^ I was wondering if it had the FILM SIMULATION BKT (just like the XS10 & 20)? I would have liked to have feedback on the tilting viewfinder. I admit that I prefer it with its handle (2 batteries), it gives it nice proportions and you can hold it effectively (and take photos) with the left hand (just to rest the right;)

It’s definitely nice but the whole reason I went to the Fuji format was to get smaller cameras, not larger! And I don’t think I want to deal with those kind of files. But I know a guy who bought one of the used models and loves it. Just not for me, as I’m doing a lot of street photography and I don’t think I want that much attention!🖖

It's better than the GFX100s, but not as good as the XH2.

For GFX it is rather fast, but it is not a XH2s. I manage to shoot a dance competition with it (using both GF20-35mm & GF55mm) and got decent results.
