Soul Calibur 2 was so mindblowing to me when it came out. No other game in the series feels like the same amount of love and care went into it as this one

Nice. I played the first one on Dreamcast, so when 2 was coming out, I remember pre-ordering it for Xbox. The Xbox was like Dreamcast 2 to me, and adding Soulcalibur 2 to go along with my copy of Dead or Alive 3 just reaffirmed that belief. Not to mention Jet Set Radio Future, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Shenmue 2, Outrun 2, and all the sega games on live arcade, good times.

HAD to get the Gamecube version for Link when I was younger! Still have my original copy, but havent played in forever. Great find with those promo scrolls. Mint condition too ✨

Ah soulcalibur defintely helped pioneer having oitside guest characters. Love those displays! i remember seeing them aroind the time!

I thought it was odd they had Heihachi in the PS2 version cause Tekken was also a fighting game. Maybe a character that's not also part of fighting game franchise like Jak, Daxter, Ratchet, Clank or Sly Cooper

Yes! That would’ve been better. See a more exclusive character but I’m guessing they wanted more fighting game fans to buy this version too.
