I have to say, this video did not disappoint. I didn't expect to see Argonaut studios involved and a proto-Star Fox on the Gameboy of all things. And I certainly didn't expect to see a tale about a wanted fugitive fleeing the country after absconding with a game's source code.

A nice Punching Weight localisation: When the DS rpg Inazuma Eleven by Level-5 (Best known for the Professor Layton and Yo-Kai Watch series) got localised for Europe, the sequel was already out in Japan. The localisers didn't just translate the game, but they also added all information on new characters and moves from the sequel to the game's data, just so that when the sequel eventually released in Europe it would be completely backwards compatible. Inazuma Eleven 2 also had some very interesting features like sharing your team to battle against for other players while passing someone while your DS is in sleep mode... This might just sound like Street Pass, but the thing is... It was a DS game released years before the 3DS and it already had it built in to the game cart. At least someone was happy about it, the game was very popular at my primary school so everyone was hyped when Inazuma Eleven 2 released, we all bought it and played together at school but the weird kid in the corner of the classroom couldn't afford the game but we still tried to connect with his copy of Inazuma Eleven 1, and we were very surprised to see that we still were able to play together without any restrictions

@@duffman18 I personally don't consider the DS old, but I'm a collector and I know what's actually old (I just bought some kind of Pong console from the 1970's) But it's a fact that the DS is already over 12 years old which was long enough for 2 generations of portable consoles to release and more than long enough for most of my peers to lose interest in their DS's and to let them collect a pretty thick layer of dust.

2:52 Why am I not surprised that Jeremy Parish was the genius to arrange this?

So we've covered 3D game on the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance, but were there any games for the NES that used 3D?

I'm not sure why I thought this was a video about a 3D Gameboy Printer accessory and I was so confused.

2:57 I would love love LOOOOOVE to see a SSFF x Jeremy Parish collab. You guys could talk about some truly interesting, quirky (and probably awful) games!

The original Toy Story was a technical revolution by being the first computer animated movie and Toy Story racer was a technical revolution on the gameboy color by having prerendered 3d computer graphics ... i see where this is going

Toy Story Racer is definitely the best example how 3D looks like on the Gameboy Color. I really loved it.

The next time you visit in a convention you should attempt a 16 player faceball match. I'm sure you got enough patron backers that will have the required retro tech.

Actually Bill Elliot's NASCAR Fast Tracks is surprisingly ambitious for a GameBoy game. It has drafting mechanics, damage and tire wear that actually effect your car's handling, and tuning options you need to tweak for each track in order to get the car driving the way you want. Sadly you can't save mid-race though, making doing more then about 50 laps a real chore. I've been meaning to invest in a GBC flash cart with save states so I can actually do a full 200 lap race at Daytona! But graphically, yes, it is screen tearing the video game.

9:49 Oh my God, I remember this game from when I was a little kid! It was the only GBC game I played besides my sister's _Alice in Wonderland_ game. 10:46 Wow... even back then, Bo Peep was kickass. :)
