the soups are indeed a nice buff to your hunger meter.. as well as the drinks for your thirst ... if u have that different color buff on, the meter decays slower than normal... also for big island exploration... i would recommend taking a stack of melons + 1 full bottle... in 2 slots u have food and water for like 2 days and 2 nights so u can stay in land along time... when building stuff like the scuba tank, flippers and such.. remember to take them off if u are not on the water.. just by wearing them in land decays its life... when making soup.. u can preload another recipe when one is already cooking... and yes.. if u have the ingredients u can just make them.. no need for the recipes xD... wiki will help you... i would suggest reinforcing your foundations around your motors and nets first... as they are kinda both expensive early on... i would suggest making your raft a bit wider so u can grab more trash with nets... u can also discard your blueprints... it only occupies space... u got the biofuel refiner... use the trophy heads from sharks or other animals u kill... in this island there is a Big Momma Bear... u can kill her.. but it will TAKE A SHIT LOAD OF TIME... and only for an achievement and only 1 unique head... it aint worth the time (for now.. u still early in the campaign.. u can always come back and kill her when u are geared better)... i would also suggest fixing the mess that is your raft xD... rotate the GPS so your next step is in front of you and not on the left (kinda weird xd) ... i also would recommend u go to a big island... not like this one but a regular normal island... just bigger than the normally u would see because there are farm animais that u urgently need... like the llamas... you would need first to kill the puffer fish around said islands... to kill these little exploding fkers i would recommend a Bow.. u can with a spear but it requires alot of finesse and too be honest... quite annoying to master... because if the fish gets close to you.. it explodes.. and u get jack shit + u get a cloud of fart that hurts you... u will get the explosive powder u need to unlock the net gun that u need to grab said farm animals (Llamas, chickens and goats... Llamas gives u wool so u can craft BAGPACK to increase your inventory space, chickens gives u eggs to make higher quality meals and Goat gives u milk to also make higher quality milks + drinks)... to keep said farm animals alive inside your raft u would need dirt plots that can be unlocked by putting dirt in the research table... you will only get dirt in big islands or special islands later on in the campaign... u can water those plots manually but u can also use the sprinkler... too be honest if u are lacking in resources forget the sprinkler... just put a water purifier near the plots and manually water the plots... if u have only 1 or 2 animals u can manage ... if u start getting like 3-5 animals... i would recommend sprinklers... sorry if the comment seems overwhelming but i think thats what u need for now :P ... happy rafting

If you click the tow icons on top right corner of chests, it pulls the same items you have in your inventory and organise it self
