I Can't Believe The Ship I Stole: Starfield Gameplay Ep 2 Xbox Series X

After failing the first time, I am back aboard a Massive VaRuun Ship attempting to take it over from some very determined Zealots who are much better equipped than I am. If we can get this we are on our way to New Atlantis and Constellation next to see what it's all about.

When capturing ships out in space, you don't have to land a planet or jump to a different system to claim them. You can sit in the pilot's seat, go to your menu, and make it your home ship from there. All companions, storage, and stuff will transfer over to the point of overflowing. Your original home ship will decouple and fly away. If you dont wantt to keep the new ship as a home ship, like if you just want to sell it, you can catch up to your original ship and dock with it and just make it your home ship again. Just make sure the new ship doesn't have contraband on it if you don't have a safe place to sell it. You can jettison items, like contraband, from your ship cargo inventory. This might be faster for you.

If you do have contraband but no shielded cargo you can jump to the red mile or the den to sell it without being scanned.

I have watched several other people's playthroughs and you are the only one to do anything the least bit adventurous this early in the game. It's crazy cus I was thinking... man this game is pretty slow going and kinda boring in the beginning 😂😂😂. Thats usually when I screw around in these kinds of games... early on. There's not a lot at stake yet and no amazing gear to lose, so getting killed in stupid ways isn't so painful. Plus you usually get a bunch of XP screwing around.

The red line it does, in fact mean co tws building up. It appears when you're working hard overloaded. If you stop for minute, the C02 level will go down. As long as you have oxygen.

One thing I wish I knew sooner: the wording of the challenges is a little weird. For Example, Commerce wants you to sell "50 unique items" before you can take another point in it. "Unique" does not mean things you've never sold before. So, don't go hording every knife, spoon, left slipper, etc. that you find to meet these challenges. It means "Sell 50 stacks." 1 stack of 50 Iron is no bueno. 1 stack of 50 sold 1 Iron at a time is alright (but very annoying). If you get into the crafting and weapon mods. your 15 or 30 required mods can be "put the cheapest thing on. Take the cheapest thing off. repeat"

Howdy Bob, VASCO is about the worst companion ever. Useless in combat, makes a ton of noise and always blocks LOS. The human companions are usually much better. If you invest in the scanning skill you wont have to scan so many times and you get a longer range.

Thanks! I’ll have to invest in scanning at some point. It’s so hard to pick skills early on. I want them all! Kinda wish I could start over and pick different ones from the beginning. Oh well. Next time I guess.

Love your running commentary! BTW, you got more credits from bringing in the artifact... Not sure if it's because I was too eager or because you ranked up in commerce. Also, you can take the suit that's locked in the basement at Constellation. Point your cursor on the seam of the door (on the right) and you should see Take pop up. You are definitely more thorough than me at scavenging... I left lots of stuff in the basement (like the credits). Going to have to go back and give the place a once over. :)

All That Money Can Buy Main Quest can bug out. For me, I cannot even speak with NPC as he spawned in the ocean. Others have started but get stuck in Neon because his dialogue options do not come up. No way to fix on Xbox if you get it bugged. Basically that save I just put 46 hours on is no longer able to do main quests until they patch it.

i had so much loot that sold for alot. So that i had to sell my thing in 3 rounds. i had to rest 48 hours ingame twice tatal in the den in wolf system to sell all my loot i collected. vendors restock after 48 ingame hours.

I'm sorry but they really failed the foliage and tree canopy. It feels so dreary and dark. The game overall looks ok but they really missed the mark. I would have loved to see the transport system similar to star citizen but I guess I set some of my hopes too high
