My all time favorite fabric designer sent her fabric to the chateau! I bought into a Tilda club just so I could get this line. When I saw it it made me think of Stephanie. I hope that they discover all the plushy animals that Is part of the Tilda line. Something right up Philips alley! What an amazing compliment to have an entire fabric range inspired by Stephanie and Lalande. Maybe when you come to decorate on the top floor you could have a room decorated using fabric from the range and possibly conceive a design for a quilt made by any friends, family, volunteers or even patrons that can sew. I just finished watching this weeks cadeaux. I love the fabric, as I am a crafter/quilter. I would gladly teach you and Natie how to make a quilt. It's really not as complicated as you would think. I have been eying up, this Tilda fabric for a while. Its wonderful. During the pandemic I made a quilt with other fabrics of hers. But this is my most favorite collection of hers. Don’t forget those fabrics are only 110 cm wide so they would be to small for a table cloth!

I love Tilda fabrics! When I look at all her patterns for things to make with the fabric, I wish I was retired. My favorite patterns are for the characters and critters. This is the video my dreams are made of. I actually saw this fabric before the video and ordered some online. Seeing all the fabric gifted is a amazing...must be thousands of dollars worth! I have watched this video several times and would love to see what is made out of the fabric. Quilts may not be ordinarily found in a chateau but it would be a shame not to make a least one with several of the fabrics. I am available next summer if you need a quilt volunteer!

Again… such lovely gifts and so much thoughtfulness was put into each one. It’s so nice to see all of you out on the terrace together. Each one of you so special. The library embossing tool for the books really was a wonderful idea and speaks to me. We are renovating and making a former kitchen into a library / sitting room. Stephanie inspired me to de clutter and in doing so I found a small box of cards that belonged to my beloved late uncle , each one was printed with a beautiful border and the words “ Ex Libris ”. My uncle was proficient in Latin so how fitting. He put these in all his books and now I will use them in ours . As always a lovely vlog Stephanie . LaLande is such a happy place!
