Myself and Josh hiked from the main road to the place you got in the kayaks and some guys brought us across the river where theres this little shack/restaurant right on the beach where you can get fresh fish, beers and coconuts :D

I am! You don’t need a visa. The border of Mexico is open for tourists and you are allowed to leave the Netherlands and come back if you can show 2 negative covid tests and quarantine after coming back.

I have the exact same problem with a swollen eye when I travel! It happened to me so many times already and I never figured out why 😂 it always goes away the next day. Good to know I’m not the only one with this issue

You might be allergic to something? also our eye glands get plugged and cause more dryness...... I squeeze mine, try it with the other end of rounded tweezers (I have some vids) you might not get much out the first few times but then they usually open up; moist hot climates are worse...

By the time I could plan and execute a trip to Mexico it would definitely be hot and humid here and surely the same there. I mentioned my plans at work the other day and a co-worker, a young 'surfer bro' had been to Puerto Escondido recently and said he thought it was more 'third world like' than most towns along the Pacific Coast. But the surfing was great. Is that your experience? Thanks again for everything.
