Yeah and I really wanted the piece to sell its self vs me promoting or pushing a sale on anyone. Which was nice to actually have happen, could I have sold the first one faster if I was pushing my shop every day? Probably, but I want someone to find something they love and make a purchase vs me hounding the public. Thanks for the kind words!

First step is just doing it, I started turning things about 3 years ago and never thought i would get into selling anything i was just doing it for fun. But then i wanted a new challenge so making things to sell started. When i look back now, i could of sped up this time line so much as now im playing catchup trying to build more things to list.

@@jelias9247 that’s one thing I haven’t done yet. I need to just batch out a lot of product and then figure out more things than just Etsy. It’s fun talking with people about things you have made and the process it takes to create it.

Congratulations on that first sale. It is quite the feeling, isn't it? I started my Etsy shop a year ago this week and it was very exciting getting that first sale. I did the note thing as well. I would say my first 10-15 sales got notes but then my sales exploded and I couldn't keep it up. Hopefully that will happen to your shop.

Haha! Well i created the etsy store and listed things without telling anyone i knew because that was my 2024 goal. Sell something to someone i didnt know. But yes i had a fear when i first saw that sale come in that it was going to be someone i knew and luckily it wasnt. (Or it wouldnt of counted and this video would not of been made).
